I am 72 and have been rattled by my experience at FC Hervey Bay today as I went in to enquire about a mixed fare to Europe. The gentleman there advised me that not all airlines do the mixed fares and I understood that first time. While he looked up that fares, I mentioned .." do you know that FC are..." he interrupted and quite rudely and loud said, " I have told you that not all airlines do these mixed fares!"..I said Ok..I just wanted to say that do you know..? "he interrupted again very loudly for all to hear, "I have said it twice now..not all airlines do the mixed fares:".. I was stunned.. I told him that I heard first time and am aware of that, I was a flight attendant. He then told me that he refused to do my fares and deal with me. I tried again to tell him. That all I wanted to say is that "do you know that FC are the only ones that do mixed fares, Skyscanner doesn't, nor do other agencies" That's all I wanted to say, to make conversation. He would not hear of it...he then told me he would not serve me. I knew if I would walk out I would be crying from the humiliation. I told him I would report his rudeness and he said go ahead he doesn't care. I said I was not leaving until he gave me the service I came in for. I have been with FC for over 30 years now. Eventually I apologised to him for what said and he apologised too. However it has rattled me. I had a heart attack last week and my family and friends are not happy with the treatment I got. He needs to listen to what the customer wants to say. I just wanted to make a comment. Build up a rapport. He has no customer skills. He really has attitude problems. I may be old but I am still a paying customer!

The booking, quote and, payment processes were efficient. Jessica was patient with the questions that I had after not travelling for many years and, was speedy with responding to emails. Cannot recommend Jessica more highly for making travel arrangements.

It is not the company that is doing well, it is Amber, the red hot travel consultant. She excelled in getting me multiple co-ordinated flights in a very short space of time and at very short notice. I have just given her a very complicated assignment involving multiple flights and multiple mode of transportation with not one but three other passengers from different countries.
