It's not about what went wrong this time, I use the Swansea store, it's like a jumble sale, everything is everywhere, lots of European method fishing gear which is not used in the UK, prices are not displayed on 50% of the products, very poor selection of sea fishing rods, again, mostly with no prices, needs a more managerial approach, also I can't put a specific
location on my review because the website on't let me, not good enough!!!
When will you get the message and sort out the incompetence?

New rods
Visited after searching for a pair of new carp rods online.Shop had a terrific deal and I bought 2 rods for what one would have cost elsewhere.

Excellent advice if you aren't quite sure what you need
Popped into the local Fishing Republic (Crewe) and spoke to Paul (Hooky) about rig mechanics. He advised me what I needed and even took time out of his break to tie it so I could see how it works. Very rare you find this level of customer service these days. The knowledge of the lads in that shop is second to none.

Drove to Basingstoke to visit fishing…
Drove to Basingstoke to visit fishing Republic only to be told the store is moving to another location. Stock of fishing tackle low. This was not published online and I could have gone to a proper fishing tackle shop. Waste of a journey and time.

My recent visit to the Lincoln store…
My recent visit to the Lincoln store was a big disappointment. The Fishing department is getting squeezed more and more into a little corner. Shelves are poorly stocked and there is not a great selection of anything really. Ive
never see a member of staff about to ask for advice.

AVOID - They use Evri!
AVOID - They use Evri
I placed an online order with them on the 22nd, which THEY lost!
10 days later they offered either a replacement or refund.
I decided I would give them another chance to make things right...HUGE MISTAKE ON MY PART!
They sent me the wrong tracking number for the replacement order.
I contacted them again, and they replied with "your order has not yet been picked".
You would think that having messed the customer around for nearly 2 weeks now they would at least have the courtesy to put the replacement order out as an expedited delivery, but nope "you will get your order again on standard delivery".
They gave a number to contact, which nobody answers.
Bear in mind it took them less than 10 seconds to take the money from my credit card!
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Edit:
12 days after placing the original order and lots of emailing, and publicly complaining, I finally got my order delivered. Bear in mind their chosen delivery service is Evri (a very cheap and unreliable delivery service). As a result I will AVOID AVOID AVOID in the future!
