My Wife and i were involved in a crash at approximately 80 mph, and the impact was severe enough that the First MFG vests we were wearing were essentially destroyed. However, despite the damage to the vests and the violence of the crash, the areas of our shoulders and backs that were covered by the vests were completely unharmed.
We experienced road rash in areas that were not protected, but the skin underneath the vests was remarkably untouched. Seeing the condition of the vests afterward really drove home just how much protection they provided. The vests took the abuse instead of our skin.

I'm sure motorcycle gear is tested and evaluated in controlled conditions, but seeing firsthand what your gear did during an actual 80 mph crash was incredibly impressive. The vests may be destroyed, but they did exactly what we needed them to do when it mattered most.

I wanted to take the time to tell you because there's a real story behind the damage to those vests: they helped prevent significantly more road rash and injury to our shoulders and backs. We're extremely grateful we were wearing them.
Thank you for making gear that can stand between a rider and the pavement when it really counts.

I have several jackets and other items from First MFG. The jackets are incredibly well made and have endured me putting them through harsh riding conditions (rain, humidity, extreme desert sun and heat) and have held up flawlessly, both the leather, the inner linings, and zippers. They come with pockets for armor, as well as internal pockets for valuables. I wear my riding jackets both on and off the bike because I love them SO much!

I bought a new jacket from theses guys, not expecting very much at all. It was on sale for 119.00 how good could it be? I got my jacket and it was heavy duty leather new leather smell and all. Unfortunately it was a bit to small. They hooked me up with instructions on how to exchange it. They sent out its replacement as soon as they got a tracking number. Very positive experience. 👍

I had a terrible fading/miss-coloring issue with a Low Side canvas vest. After getting hold of Sam through the customer care line, he insured me he would look into the issue. He kept his word and my issue was resolved. I’m happy to say FirstMFG stood behind their product and my issue was resolved.

Haven't found a better attention to quality, and just great customer support. After purchasing 4 leather biker jackets, just bought my 1st vest. Will watch for more in future. And Heh, I'm a little ol Canadian. Quality is quality, no matter where you find it.

I ordered a vest in two sizes with overnight shipping. Product arrived and one of the sizes was wrong. I called and talked to Sam. He went above and beyond to make sure the correct size was shipped to me next day. Great customer service. He de-escalated the situation with calm, as I probably wasn’t as calm as I’d like to have been.

I have purchased 4 leather jackets and one canvas jacket, including two custom jackets and their process is easy and secure. What I mean is, the items were as described, including sizes per the sizing chart. The quality was very good and their customer service is also top notch. One jacket I ordered didn’t look to me to be the best representation of the jacket color I ordered. I ordered oxblood leather and I felt the leather wasn’t red enough. I said something and they made it right by sending me another jacket. The second one looked great and I kept it. Just this week I ordered a belt, along with several other things, and I did not select the correct size (totally my mistake). Just reached out and they allowed me to exchange. Went above and beyond. I would definitely order again and would recommend to anyone looking for jackets, gloves, belts, etc. order with confidence.

Quality vest, looks and feels great! The stitching, material and features like the large inside pockets and slots for armor means you could really protect your core from impact and slides. Id recommend this brand to anyone looking for a solid vest or any of their merch :)

Started kinda rocky. Due to sturgis and such a fast flow of inventory, the stock didn’t match what the computer showed. That being said Sean went through all the inventory they physically had to find something in my interest. That was awesome. He retained the customer, completed the order, all good.

I have been a repeat customer at FirstMFG for a few years. I have purchased several leather vests for myself and my wife, a few leather belts and a leather jacket. All the orders have always been delivered without any issues and in a very timely manner. I recently order a mesh moto vest. It was my fault as I didnt read the reviews that mentioned to size up. For the first time, I had to exchange an item. I contacted Sam and he got the ball rolling. In the couple days of mailing out the wrong sized vest and ordering the right size, the ongoing sale changed from 60% off to 50% off. When I questioned about this, Sam did things right by me by adding a pair of riding gloves to my order at no cost to me and also covered the shipping cost to ship the correct size out. I have always recommended First Manufacturing to anyone looking for quality leather vests, jackets and belts just based on the quality of the product. But now I have a first hand experience of how well they treat their customers. Great job Sam and thank you again

I called regarding an order and was told that the item was actually out of stock. I worked with Emma Wilson from customer service for a quick solution. We transfered my order over to a different jacket that was in stock so I wouldn't have to wait for the 4-6 week lead times.

Absolutely loved my vest, After trying a few different companies and ordering the Timber vest from First MNFG i can tell you it was the beat fitting vest ive gotten in a long time, didnt ride up my body as youre going down the highway the leather is super high quality the pockets are durable and designed for exactly what you need to carry, betst part is the liner comes off if youre looking to get anything patched on it makes it easy work. Overall 10/10 vest I wouldnt order another vest from any different company again.
