Arrived on time,good heat output
only problem is the control is a bit of issue.

When I went on to the website to order fireplace, it said delivery was between 3 and 5 weeks, but when oi placed order, the delivery time went to week beginning 1st February, felt conned.

Despite all the limitations during COVID lockdown, Fireplaces 4 Life managed to deliver quickly. The product I purchased was keenly priced and much cheaper than their competition.

Awful company to deal with. I ordered a fire in good faith that it will be delivered in 7-10 days (as stated on their website). The fire was showing as ‘in stock’. Do not believe this as it’s a load of rubbish. I emailed them numerous times and when they did bother to reply to them it was just to keep fobbing me off. I understand there are issues due to covid but this doesn’t affect answering customers queries plus I was still receiving deliveries from other companies, so that was a load of rubbish too. After a month of waiting, I’d had enough and requested a refund via PayPal. I even contacted another fire company and they told me that the particular fire i ordered was discontinued so I wouldn’t have got it anyway. If I hadn’t have opened a case with PayPal, I would still be waiting now for a fire that doesn’t exist! I have ordered a new fire from a different company and received it within a week with regular updates.

I placed an order on the Saturday. I didn’t receive any notification. I Emailed the company on the Wednesday and received a reply the next day. At first they didn’t have knowledge of my order, however within a day or two I was told my order had been dispatched. I received the order on the Monday. Having read the reviews I started to get worried, however, now I know there was nothing to be concerned about. I’m very satisfied with the quality and overall the price. Thanks to Pete who kept me up to date through the whole process via email about the order.

I have not heard a word from then since i purcased the fires

Bought a new fire via their web site as it said was in stock, I then get an email a day later saying it was out of stock. Not happy.

I love my new stove, it was cheaper with fireplace 4 life , the delivery man was a lovely man , I would of give them 5 stars if the fire had of been in stock as stated I had to wait 15 days for delivery which I know isn’t long if you know it will take that time, communications and customer service needs to improve.

This company is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered a gas fire on the 2/12/2020 with a 2-3 day delivery, still nothing 9 days later. Because they gave me notice of delivery as promised, I was at work on the day they say it was delivered. I have no idea where it has been delivered but not at this address. They have no one manning the phone’s therefore you cannot contact them directly, you have to use email. I have emailed them numerous times but their response is slow, sometimes the next day. Due to these issues I’ve had to buy a fire from elsewhere. I have cancelled my order and asked for a refund but they seem reluctant. All they say is it’s been delivered. Be warned customer service is nonexistent if something goes wrong good luck with.

We found our fire surround a lot cheaper than anywhere else.

The service was excellent and it was delivered on time with a call from the driver to give us an exact time.

Fire surround is excellent and we are more than happy.

Would not hesitate to recommend.

I ordered a fire on the 9/ 11 /2020 it has not arrived emailed them several times they kept saying it had been sent or delivered in the end i asked them who the courier was and for a photo of the delivery but got no reply they will not answer emails or phone

As yet we still don't have the fire we ordered on 31st Oct. My last email of 3rd Dec remains unanswered. It is not possible to speak to anyone on the phone.

Ordered this fire to replace the decommissioned gas grate style fire. Came within two weeks, very reasonable price. Looks good, authentic brass. Fairly easy to set up. Fitted in the space left by the gas grate just right. When turned on looks lovely and cosy with a warm orange glow. Plenty of heat comes out the bottom when heat is needed (just remember to remove the grate plate to prevent overheating, as per manufacturer's instructions. Really finishes the lounge a treat!

In a world of next day delivery three weeks is just to long!!!

Made an order in late September 2020
Took them 2 weeks to tell me that piece was discontinued.
Ordered new fire place that’s meant to be in stock having waited 3 months and very little communication they not committing to a delivery date I have lost my patience and requested a refund. Had a fitter already so wasted his time too. Does not give me much confidence if something went wrong with the product how long will they take to fix.

Don't go anywhere near very disappointed ordered fireplace told 7 to 14 day delivery after a month tried phoning several times no response so emailed for order update to be told tile inserts out of stock so asked for refund and was asked if i would accept fireplace and tiles would be sent at a further date when in stock this did not suit me luckily i payed through paypal so i got a full refund

i am very disappointed with the service i have received purchased a gas fire on the 8th of october which i paid for on the day of purchase,two days later i received an email saying my fire had been dispatched,it is now 23 november and still no fire arrived i have emailed fireplaces 4 life a few times and received two emails back one saying they have been in touch with the suppliers thats all it said the other one said its because of covid its strange you can order things from other places and they arrive the next day.does anyone out there know of any ideas how we can get our money back or fire delivered thanks once again think before you buy from this firm you have been warned i wish i had read other reviews before i ordered something .

If there was a 0 or a minus i would rate rate this. We ordered our fire on the 10th October over the phone. Strangely when on the phone it was in stock, we then received a phone call on 12th October advising it wasnt in stock and would be due at the end of the month. I emailed on 23rd October to ask what date at the end of the month to then be told it was coming in on 5th November strangely they never emailed back they always ring asif they are trying to cover communciation. I rang on the 5th and they have diverted all their calls and this day you can't get through. I messaged on facebook on the 5th to see if they would reply, i got a message on the 9th to say whats your order number ill check, i replied with the details. Still to this day they haven't opened my reply. Luckily i decided to pay via credit card due to being able to access the section 75 if anything went wrong with it being a large sum of money. I'm glad i did, ive ended up doing a charge back. Pete has now emailed me to confirm he received my charge back and has cancelled the order. Please please dont waste your time and money.

Ordered a stove 10 days ago and had a confirmation from Sage Pay but nothing from Fireplaces4Life. Phone line goes straight to Voice Mail.
Looking through these reviews, I feel like I've been scammed.

UPDATE - I have received a refund. Customer service is terrible, poor communication. I addressed my refund request email to the owner which seemed to get their attention.
