I was more than happy with my 2 night stay! Friendly staff, clean room/great views! 10/10

Well equipped apartment, spotless, wonderful host.

I would never recommend this Company. 8 days before we were due to go to The Old Windmill, Hindolveston, Norfolk for a very special celebration with friends and family over the Easter weekend, the Company Finest Retreats rang me up to say they had cancelled my holiday accommodation. The reason they said was that a family were already living there. Finest Retreats had confirmed my booking, taken a deposit and the full remaining balance in February. When I asked them to find me alterative accommodation (second time of me ringing them) the two places they sent details of were approx. 300 miles away and 260 miles away from our home, family and friends. I asked, as they had cancelled, whether I could have any details of slightly more expensive property they had available as some sort of compensation I was flatly refused. My advice would be a) think twice about this Company and in particular this property, and b) do not assume the property will be available until you arrive.

As usual superb, as I have been to belle house 8 or 9 times now I think that speaks for itself.

Not only are the properties out of this world fantastic, they are detailed and caring and nothing is too much trouble.

Finest Retreats have been managing my property’Islip MIll House’ for 3 years and have been tremendous and very friendly and helpful, it’s also nice to see people enjoy their stay here too 😀

I appreciate my requirements were maybe a little different compared to what the company are used to dealing with but the customer service element was shocking.

Before booking a property I had one specific question which after a number of emails and two phone calls over the course of a week, my partner finally got a response. Thankfully the property did not get booked up in the time it took for them to get back to us.

I can't quite decide if it is poorly ran or if the company doesn't care. It seems like they have a large portfolio of mostly very well presented properties but fail to keep track of and have no personable element to the properties they manage. You may have to spell the property name out to them if you try to arrange a booking.

Unfortunately my booking was cancelled 11 days before arrival. I was told this was by the property owner as "it won't be ready". This of course left me with very little time to find an alternative and I knew I would have to pay a premium for a late booking. I was assured I would be sent alternative properties to look at later that day only to receive a phone call to tell me it wouldn't be until the day after. I appreciate the heads up but total honesty from the beginning would have been appreciated. Despite the fact I wasn't going to book with the company after this, I explored the alternatives. I mentioned that I believed I am owed some sort of discount if I was to book, I was told that it's at the property owners discretion. In this case I feel that the company themselves should have footed the discount as I am sure that when my booking was cancelled they would have charged the property owner some sort of penalty. It should not be down to an alternative property owner to "pay" for something that did not involve them.

I read some previous reviews about the company and most of them seem good with the odd one mentioning customer service and response times. Unfortunately for me I was on the receiving end of a negative experience with that and overall with the company. I will endeavour to never use finest retreats for this but also for the fact that when I am parting with £4000 I think the service does not demand the premium price.

Had a fantastic stay in Lower School Cottages (Minehead). The home was spotless, comfortable, well equipped, tucked away in a quiet street but walking distance to local amenities. There were also lots of thoughtful little extras like special tea/coffee and mini toiletries. We felt really at home and didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be using finest retreats for future getaways

We stayed at Westcote Cottage for 5 nights as part of a birthday break. The location itself is lovely, and the property has clear potential; however, our experience did not fully meet expectations.

During our stay, we encountered a number of issues relating to maintenance, cleanliness, and the general condition of the property, which impacted our overall comfort.

That said, we did raise these issues following our stay, and the company reviewed our concerns and worked with us to reach a resolution. We appreciate that this was ultimately handled and acknowledged.

Overall, while the location is a strong point, there are areas where the property would benefit from improvement to better reflect the standard advertised. We hope this feedback is taken on board for future guests.

Perfect little hideaway in Whitby. Great location and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay in St Ives with great accommodation at reasonable prices giving great value! Great communication regarding the stay and all was as described when booked!

Little Roost is a perfect getaway, nice and quiet and very well equipped and a lovely roof terrace. I will definitely be staying there again and would highly recommend Little Roost

Company was responsive when I asked questions about accessability of the accommodation and went the extra yard to get relevant answers. The holiday and rental were lovely

We booked an apartment in Whitby at the end of February to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was very comfortable, warm, well equipped and with good quality, comfortable furniture and bed. Communication was excellent and easy. The video on the key lock was helpful, and what3words made it easy to find, although I didn't spot the entrance was up the alley first time as I was concentrating on the single road and parked cars! But the location is good, quiet and very convenient.

This was our second visit to Y LLe Hapus in Tenby and you cannot fault the facilities and the location, everything in the apartment is what is needed for a nice relaxing few days away.

We stayed at Dart Retreat in Totnes and cannot sing its praises enough

JUST TOTALLY STUNNING

Didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be returning
