They are scammer. They use different names, i.e. Nicholas, Thomas, etc... I think they are actually based in Nigeria, Pakistan or India.

They really encourage you to purchase some fake qualifications on the CIFA wesbite. I'm a professional, and have never heard of this fake qualification.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING EXPERIENCE. GRADUATES, AVOID at all costs. dont believe a word they tell you.

I applied for a graduate finance role and was contacted for a long “interview.” During the call, the interviewer kept putting me on hold to “check with a supervisor” and wouldn’t share the company name or size – only that it was a “multinational and really good company.” Afterwards, he said his supervisor said I’d passed but had to enrol in a finance qualification from a link he sent, add it to my CV, and send him the enrolment link before my CV would be put forward – and that it had to be done that day as the deadline was tomorrow (very sus). The sites looked like unofficial pages and weren’t really any cheaper than official qualifications like the IMC or CFA, but he told me to ring them because they “might do student discounts” – even though I’d said I was a graduate and I don't think I'd even qualify for student discounts - so bit odd. That’s when I got very suspicious, and I later found other people reporting the same experience on here – so thank you, Trustpilot. I’ve since blocked the number and stopped replying.

I could tell something was amiss when, AFTER I was told that I'd passed the pre-screening interview, I was badgered to pay for a regulatory qualification that I made clear I was unable to afford due to financial constraints especially for a job that I may not even get. They overbearingly insisted on me embarking on this qualification that would take 16-20 months to gain before a face-to-face interview that was supposed to be in 5 weeks, unusual as normally recruitment consultants simply bypass candidates not in possession of an essential qualification. I was also repeatedly put on hold while a phantom 'Senior' was consulted, who conveniently also endorsed me paying for this qualification beforehand.

All of the 4/5-star reviews are likely to be fake and as if the reviews given by 'Naill' and 'Isla' really correspond to a 3-star rating! My advice is to beware of such scammers, especially as I was on the phone for over an hour (unusually long for a recruitment consultant and time I'm never going to get back!). I can see from the dates of all the Trustpilot reviews that this is a recent attempt to scam. The only 'Finance Recruitment Ltd' registered on Companies House is dissolved and as it is a legal requirement for all limited companies to be registered here, this company is either dissolved or illegitimate.

I dealt with Faith Olamide (if that's even her real name), ironically named 'Faith' given that you can't put your faith in such people. Also ironic that a fraudster would push me to purchase an anti-fraud qualification. They also expected me to have a face-to-face interview refusing to say where and with whom this would take place. It's not surprising that they are unable to 'disclose' the name of a company that doesn't exist!

People like this clearly are highly intelligent (more so than I)...such a shame that they misappropriate it for the sake of fraudulence.

The team was incredible from start to finish. They were professional approachable and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. I felt supported throughout the entire process, and their advice was always spot-on.

DON’T BUY THE COURSE !!! . Its a scam! Dont waste your money! Luckly i googled them before buying that 600£+ course, i had the same experience like the other reviews. Checking them on Companies House revealed that the Company status is:
Active — Active proposal to strike off which means “means that a company is in the process of being dissolved and removed from the official register at Companies House.” and their filings are incomplete. Disgusting behaviour for scamming people who are trying to find work.

Massive scam, wasted an hour of my time asking real interview questions then said I passed everything but just needed a course. Never have I EVER seen a graduate entry role ask for an FCA accredited L4 course in order to apply. Massive red flag, for your own good ignore their calls.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. After expressing interest in a graduate investment banking opportunity, I was pressured to purchase a “CPD Investment Advisor Certification” course costing £600–£900 before my application could even be “sent forward” to the employer.

Before mentioning the payment, the team (including Benedict and others) repeatedly told me how amazing my profile was and how I was a perfect fit - clearly part of a sales tactic to make candidates feel validated and more likely to buy the course.

When I questioned the legitimacy of this “requirement,” the pressure intensified. It became obvious that this firm is not a genuine recruitment agency but a pay-to-play setup, exploiting job seekers desperate to break into finance. They even claimed that purchasing the course early would “secure my place” and allow them to send my application first — a manipulative and dishonest statement.

To test their honesty, I told them I had made the payment — and their tone instantly changed to enthusiastic and congratulatory. But the moment I revealed I actually had not paid, they quickly cut off the conversation and hung up. That reaction confirmed everything: this operation’s true goal is selling overpriced “certifications,” not helping candidates find jobs.

This practice is completely unacceptable and unethical. No legitimate recruiter should ever ask for payment or certification purchases before forwarding an application.

I sincerely hope this operation is investigated and reported to the authorities, as many unsuspecting graduates could easily fall victim to this misleading and predatory setup.

Avoid at all costs.

They tried to pressure me into buying a course from a cheap looking website. Absolutely disgusting process. They're complete scammers, I wasted 40 minutes on a call for a supposed job application, only to be told I needed to buy a certificate from an unrecognised provider.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I believe this company to be scam. I had a long screening call with them 40+ minutes. Apparently I was a perfect fit for the job my application was by far the best out of all the people that applied (not sure why they would tell me this straight away). Then they go ahead and tell you that you're a missing a certificate which this job role needs (wasn't mentioned on the job advert) then they try to sell you a course worth nearly £1000. But if I pay for it today he can immediately put it on my cv and send me to the next stage. Doesn't give you any information about the company apparently they can't talk about it? Website is dodgey looking, no real information or names. This is the same on Linkedin - there is no actual information. Then if you look on companies house this company has been dormant for years with a overdue confirmation statement. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Scam, they target hopeful graduates trying to get a job with fake roles that are too good to be true.

I also believe I just had a questionable interview with them the other day. Echoing other reviews, they called me out of the blue to set up an "interview" the next day. Entry-level job seemed to be too good to be true, and the recruiter was very complimentary on my background. But it finally ended up them asking me to get some financial certification from what I suspect may be one of their companies partners, and put that I am doing this on my CV before they forward the recommendation to the company. Unsure if the actual job exists or not, or if this company exists to upsell quite expensive qualifications.

I was contacted by a recruiter who said they were hiring for a finance graduate role through Finance Recruitment Ltd. After a long interview process (about 40 minutes), I was told I’d “passed” and would move to the next stage... but only if I obtained an FCA certification.

The recruiter then directed me to accreditedfinancecourses.co.uk to buy this course, saying it was a mandatory requirement, even though the job description only mentioned being familiar with FCA rules. They refused to give the employer’s name, and the whole conversation felt scripted to lead me toward paying for that course.

I didn’t proceed, but after searching online, I found others describing the exact same pattern. It appears this is not a genuine recruitment process but a way to sell their own “certification.” Please be cautious before sharing personal details or making any payment.

Called claiming I applied through a company (couldn't tell me what company!) and they sent my application to FRL to screen me to send back to the company.
