Avoid this company at all costs
I would seriously avoid anything to do with this company who appear to be working for Courmacs Legal Ltd. Like millions of others who took out car finance, before realising through advice from Martin Lewis to pursue a claim independently, I Google searched to see if I was eligible and came across Finance Claims Expert. They asked for basic information and an online signature for what I believed was a free online check. Sadly, their small print allegedly warns that by submitting your request for a free check you are also entering into a contract along with their fees. There was no immediate response and, like most people, I forgot about the Google search. Some weeks later, searching emails from BMW Financial Services promising me I may be due for compensation, I discovered an email in my spam folder from Courmacs Legal Ltd with a contract attached with my online, barely recognisable signature attached. They had simply copied it and put it on a contract I hadn't even read. There was a 14-day cooling off period which was by now well passed. I have complained about what I consider to be malpractice or at least extremely dubious practice to Courmacs who have dismissed my appeal. The matter is now with the Legal Ombudsman Service.
PLEASE learn from my experience. You can pursue your claims independently by following advice from Martin Lewis.
Beware of this very suspect practice and don't go near them.
