I ordered a small and inexpensive item yesterday (1st May 2024, 12:30:42). It arrived at my home in the Scottish Highlands this morning (2nd May, 10:30) less than twenty-four hours after ordering. The postal charge was nothing - free! This is quite exceptional service for which I am both impressed and very grateful.

Farlows is the only online flyfishing outlet I know that doesn’t charge postage, even on small items. I ordered a single tapered leader yesterday morning & it arrived Royal Mail 24 hr this morning. And they included a 10% off code valid for a month. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Received notification of my delivery, further notification that it had been delivered between the said hours, the delivery tracker indicated it had been delivered to Bicester ( not our address ).

The goods were ordered for next day delivery for a Client event tomorrow.

I politely request a prompt response by way of an update.

Fantastic.. I ordered a single rapala fishing lure with free postage. I genuinely thought it'd take a few days because it would be posted second class. No, it arrived next day. Excellent service and at an excellent price.

Excellent mail order service. I have actually opened an account this year, free postage. I pop in when in London, friendly and knowledgeable staff, good browsing no pushy sales.

I visited Farlows shop in Pall Mall today to get advice of fly lines for fishing for golden Dorado in Bolivia, which is going to be my first trip there.

The team, several of whom were involved, could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable and friendly!!

I came away with the knowledge and kit that I need.

I’ve purchased a number of items with Farlows with no problem.

However I recently purchased some super glue. On receipt the glue in the bottle was past its best coming out very viscous. The quantity in the bottle also seemed very low as the bottle was barely a quarter full.

I contacted Farlows requesting a replacement be sent or a refund. But have had no reply. I am disappointed with the lack of response and will think twice before purchasing from them again.

9th August. Since submitting my initial review Farlows have contacted me to apologise and will be sending our a replacement bottle of superglue. I have therefore amend my rating of Farlows from 2 to 4 stars.

Further updatem 07/09/2023 I updated my review expecting the replacement superglue to arrive a few days after I was promised it would be sent out. But a month later it still has not arrived so I have changed my rating again.

Superglue finaly arrived arrived. Can only assume was delivered to wrong address.

This is how you should run a company because you’ll trust them and the service is to be highly commended

This shop defines Service. Tom Clinton in particular. Went in to look for some saltwater fly fishing gear, bought a Patagonia waterproof jacket and, in the bargain, got bags of really useful, objective, non-pushy advice about rods, reels and lines. Tom was first rate, immensely knowledgeable and generous with his insights, and a genuine pleasure to talk to. Tom left me with the impression of a truly excited and experienced enthusiast, who was interested in what I wanted not what he wanted to sell. Am looking forward to going back. Would recommend them unreservedly.

Just wanted to say a huge thankyou fantastic customer service with highly knowledgeable staff top draw. Really helped me out with reel and line selection even repaired a damaged line and loaded my new reel top draw service

I wouldn't hesitate to order from these guys. They are a quality business selling really high quality products. I think their prices are fare and the speed in which they are shipped is great. They also have great customer service.

I bought a rod and reel combo in time for the fisheries reopening after lockdown. Service was very good, with prompt delivery. I'll definitely order online again

Visited to buy waders and fishing jacket, Tom spent ages with me explaining the options. They don't try to sell you most expensive, just the right option, also despite being on Pall Mall and supplier to Royalty they are no more expensive than other places. Probably the best shopping experiences I've had for a long time. Bought Simms G4 waders, boots and jacket, superb, worth every penny.
