Poor customer experience in the parts department. Felt like we were Inconveniencing her day by trying to give Family Leisure business! We walked out and would rather go deal with a company who wants our money!

If things don’t change from a customer experience perspective - there is no way that company can keep their doors open.
When we shopped (and purchased) from there 10 years ago …. We have THE most friendly staff helping us out. Today was an absolute joke.

Purchased new hot tub October of 2025, went with the "easy" care system. It has been an issue from day one after over $600.00 in chemicals, new filters 3 complete drains and re-fills they finally sent a tech out. He could not find anything wrong with the systems, took a water sample back to be analyzed. They call back to say it was organic matter. Funny how organic matter could be the issue when nothing or no one has been in contact with the water for over 2 months. There is clearly something in the lines of the hot tub but they will not take accountability

Absolutely the worst!! Took six weeks to get my order. Look like a 3rd grader made them. The emails are curt. Do not do business with them!

We purchased a children’s swing set from Family Leisure Center in March 2024 for over $2,500. While the set initially appeared well-built, it developed serious structural issues within the first year—several slats have come loose, and one of the main support beams is splitting. This raises major safety concerns, especially with our young grandchildren eager to use the set.

We first contacted the company in March 2025, provided photos of the damage, and requested a repair or replacement. It is now May, almost June 2025, and we have yet to receive a meaningful update, a confirmed repair date, or a written response. We’ve called multiple times and followed up by email, but nothing of substance has been offered to resolve the issue.

This level of customer service is extremely disappointing. We expected much better product quality and more responsive support after investing over $2,500. As it stands, the swing set is unsafe and unusable, and we’re still waiting for the company to take responsibility.

We have been having problems with our permasalt system of our pool. We can’t get it to work and it hasn’t worked for since we purchased it three years ago

I went in there to get a new pool liner we went to the service department the lady behind the counter Samantha was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed to get and helped us get everything done

I've been trying to get removed from their email list for months to no avail! Stay away unless you wanted to be spammed to death!!

Wish I could leave zero stars! Been dealing with them for parts that are broke on a hot tub I bought almost a year ago! They have lied and sent me in circles trying to get this fixed and the last time hung up on me! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FAMILY LEISURE IN OKLAHOMA CITY!!!!!

I purchased s spa from Family Leisure in 2021 and continued my service and spa equipment purchases through them. Every year, I have had my spa service through their contracted technicians. This year, I ordered a Hydraulic lift to replace my current one as well as getting my spa serviced by Stephen Mulshof. The original appointment was set for Monday 9, September. A gentleman (Not Stephen) showed up without lift stating he knew nothing about bringing it as it was back at Family Leisure. I called Stephen and he told me it was a communication error and that he had ordered the wrong lift. We then agreed to reschedule for the following Monday 16 September to come and complete the service. I had text several times prior to Monday to coordinate a time frame. Stephen never responded. I even left a voice message. I Texted Stephen again on Monday, and once again I received no response. I called Family Leisure Service and was assured that Stephen would get the message. A few hours had passed, and I called again and was assured that I would get a call back with an update. I received a call from Family Leisure Service and was told he got in touch with Stephen and Stephen was in Bowling Green and would call me to ensure I was still getting my spa serviced. My spa was never serviced, and I never received a call from Stephen Mulshof to cancel. Specifically, because of Stephen Mulshof's irresponsibility I will not purchase from Family Leisure again. It's the service after the sale that matters most to me!

The sales staff were not overpowering. And very informative.
When I went to the Carmel store, I told the salesman I already bought a spa from the Indy store, and just have a few questions.
Even though no commission was possible, he was friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions.

We bought a $25,000 swim spa from Family Leisure. For the last three years , yes you’re reading that correctly, the last three years I have been unable to use it because they cannot fix it. It has been leaking for three full years. They’ve been out here no less than 60 times And they still have not fixed it. No Father’s Day no Mother’s Day no Thanksgiving no New Year’s or Christmases no birthdays for three years. I keep filling it up. It keeps leaking. They keep telling me to empty it and then I refill it and it leaks again. They put different technicians on it and each time they keep telling me it’s fixed but it’s not. When I call, they give me an attitude like it’s my fault and they are not been helpful. I would not purchase anything from Family Leisure. It is not a company that will treat you right.

Absolutely the worst communication skills of any company I have ever dealt with, I have been trying all morning for someone to let me know a roundabout times that they will be showing up at my home, of course the manager, nor the owner is in to speak with me, the same old, blah blah blah blah blah Terrible terrible
People answering the phone are so arrogant and disrespectful, please don’t go out of your way and make them answer a question.

I have to confess; I am usually the one that only writes a review when I am mad about the service that was provided. Especially with the way customer service has declined since Covid. However, this season we had to have a pool reinstall by Family Leisure (Memphis) and I was extremely impressed with the entire process from the store Parts & Service Manager to the crew that came out and did the reinstall. They did such a great job and were knowledgeable, professional, quick and efficient. Their employees worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Thank you, Family Leisure, for this was a wonderful experience!

The Dauberger's (Olive Branch)

On today, Saturday, January 14,2023, me and life went into Family Liesure on Whitten Road here in Memphis, TN. We entered through the parts department and was instructed to go into the store to look at a pump for our pool. When we entered the sales floor, there was several salesmen standing there having a conversation. Not one person asked could I help you with anything. One salesman even looked our way and got up and left. Now take it, we have spent thousands of dollars with this company. From playgrounds sets, pool tables, and outdoor kitchens to name a few. We just stood there waiting to be help and no one addressed our presence. I really felt racially discriminated against, because a Caucasian male walked in and two salesmen who were standing in that group rushed to assist him. We will not ever buy a single item from this company and I just wanted that this is not the first time this has happen to someone of color. I hope that someone in the corporate office reads this, because this is bad for your company.

The Washington’s

Our 5 star review is not based on the Vuly trampoline product we ordered but the responsiveness and courteous nature of Mike Eikenberry who handled our frustrations and refund so professionally. Faulty products happen and the way Mike handled our issue reflects highly on Family Leisure!

We purchased a pool from the NLR, Ar store about four years ago. It has been nothing but a huge headache. If you go in for help be sure and bring a sack full of money because that's the only thing they listen to. I honestly don't know how they stay in business because their people skills are non-existent.

They we spot on. explained what they were to do. Nice crew.

So I bought my pool in May,installed it myself, after I bought the pool they informed me that the cover was on back order and would be in in a few weeks,I called them in August and they told me the middle of September.I called today and they told me that it would probably be a good idea if I went to another company and purchased a cover brought them y
the bill and they would reimburse the money,I paid almost $11,000 for this pool and the quality of the pool is completely sub par.The ladder is junk, the liner has holes in the side.I can say I will never spend another dollar of my money there and neither should you.

Oklahoma City Store:

We bought a pool table from them for almost $3,000. When their crew was setting up the pool table I asked if they could also adjust a shuffleboard (which was not purchased from Family Leisure). They did so, and charged us for it.

The adjustment did not fix the problem. When I contacted them to see if they would come back out, I was told that they never should have worked on a product that they did not sell.

They refused to fix the problem and refused to refund the money we paid that did not fix the problem.

As other reviews affirm, they are dishonest and do not stand by their word, products, or work...will never do business with them again.
