I am providing this review in 3 parts: overall experience, quality of the shutters, instructions & DIY.

By far the most impressive part of dealing with this company is their process and customer experience they provide. I felt supported and informed during my order with ensuring dimensions were correct.

I’m not convinced the powder coating quality is as good as the ones I replaced which were 10 years old, there are some spots on the powder coating that have slight blemishes or scratches. Oddly they are on the inside which in our application is the side you see. There is also some wear from the transit to WA, albeit there was some paper that was rolled with the shutter to prevent this, the wear is below where the paper stopped. Another 20cm of paper and this would have prevented this. I called the company and they said they would send touchup paint which hasn’t arrived yet, but I am unsure if it will create other problems in painting it and make it more noticeable. My recommendation to the company is to provide additional measures in packing when shipping to WA to prevent wear. My shutters were 2.5-3m wide, so maybe more protection is required. It is this reason I have provided 3 stars in my review. If not for the wear in transit I would have given 5 stars. I could see that a lot of thought had gone into packing, so its a shame that there was some damage. I also have a problem with being advised after ordering that all damage has to be reported within 24 hours of delivery, clearly this is impractical and probably not consistent with Australian Consumer Law.

The guides, the pelmet and motor all seem good, the aluminium seems thinner than original on the cover on the pelmet and the wind seems to create a drumming sound. But lots of things are thinner today than 10 years ago!

The instructions were very good although I feel there was one important step missing that created me a couple of hours of rework - the rear of the pelmet must be outside the guide. Not realising this early enough, this created some damage on one shutter. Maybe I missed something in the instructions.

I left a message for someone to call me re an install question and no one returned my call (the sales person who took the message said they were very busy in the service area).

Overall I am pretty happy with the product. They look really nice and operate well. I would order more if I needed to, but would want some guarantee that there was some extra protection in transit.

Shutters arrived as expected and to the correct dimensions. Simple enough to fit and very quiet.

The measurement instructions were wrong in one critical detail, which has led to a big problem with my roller shutter.
The wiring diagram for the electrician was so blurred as to be dangerous.
The blind arrived severely dented during transport/delivery. 10 days to send a replacement part. No apology.

Good Product and easy company to deal with

The roller blind is all that I had hoped for. It is protecting an unsheltered eastern facing glass sliding door. It has reduced the transfer of heat measurably. I am interested to see how it goes in a heavy rainstorm, but unfortunately we haven't had the pleasure of that yet.
The company, especially Damien, were very helpful with our enquiries.
The freight company could have handled the blind with more care, thus the 4 stars.

Despite contacting Ezy be email and leaving a phone message, no one has replied to us regarding issues with our delivery ?

Ezy-Fit communicated promptly about my initial enquiry, and assisted in ensuring I provided all appropriate information. The product was as described, and well packed for shipping. I called with a question during installation, which was answered satisfactorily. Written installation instructions were generally adequate, though a small amount of contemplation was required due to minor changes in specifications. Overall a positive experience, and I would recommend Ezy-Fit to anyone moderately handy with DIY projects.

Thank you Ezy-Fit Roller Shutters for the ease of ordering, the high quality product and the after sales support. I ordered a number of shutters and found it great experience and extremely cost effective. The product was easy to install (I choose the wireless motors), it takes a couple of hours per window, so plan it out well is you have lots of windows. I had some issues with the steep slope of my sills which Damien was able to help me through. Thank you and keep up the great work and great prices! I have had working since June with no problems!

Roller shutters fitted and working well, I opted for battery control unit and saved on electrician charges. I fitted two shutters with 25mm packing, once nutted out the process the second shuuter was a breeze. Shutters are working well.

Terrific, young Damian could not be more helpful we needed our shutters by a set date and he went out of his way to make it happen , we also needed some modification , no problem , the price and quality very good, are we going to use them again Yes sir. Easy-fit roller shutters were just that! Made to order in only a few weeks and fit perfectly. Instructions were very straight forward and simple to put together. Saved big bucks doing it ourselves too instead of a company coming to charge a small fortune. Love it and would highly recommend

Product was better then I expected with the high standard of quality, staff were professional and friendly and the delivery was quick.

Quite a good product easy to install and look good but a long lead time from order to delivery.

Excellent product - easy process from order to delivery ( although tracking is a bit ordinary)
Easy to follow instructions. However our electrical instructions were missing, but the 25 x7 support phone line provided a link to these in a Sunday ( with the electrician threatening to charge me extra) - good after sakes support. Mother in law is very happy and neighbours are jealous

Easy to measure and fit. I'm just a hame handy man and found it pretty easy to fit. I will definately find further use for them in the future!
