I really recommend this treatment. It's worked and made me so much more comfortable - wish I had done it sooner, so I didn't suffer as much. Friendly and helpful staff that explained the procedure and results.

Very kind and efficient Reception staff to begin with. Doctor was extremely good at putting me at ease as was all his clear explanation about the treatment.

Easy procedure with very professional clinician. The nurse was very friendly and helped to make it a much better, relaxed experience.
So far, it is has been a sucess and made life much better.

I had heard about this procedure from someone else and decided to have this done, the procedure was comfortable and within a couple of days I knew it had worked as my symptoms had improved, one month on and everything is good.

The procedure was quick and almost painless. A little discomfort initially but that soon subsided. For a few days after the treatment a little leakage was experienced but by the end of week 1 all was well and I have not looked back. I wish that I had considered having the operation earlier It would have saved a lot not having to buy anal cream etc and underwear.

Found experience uncomfortable but no pain no gain think you need to be more honest about pain not saying not much discomfort very pleased with results though after years of constant bleeding now gone many thanks to your staff but again explain more about pain to clients

Though we did not go ahead with the treatment as discouraged by the very honest Colo-rectal surgeon Mr Macklin in Dewsbury, who diagnosed it as something else ( and whom I give five stars to) I would like to give five stars to Jade Whitekar patient liaison, who was fabulous and went out of her way in arranging an early apt for somebody with learning difficulties. She prevented us from a potential terrible travel all the way to Manchester an hour and a bit away from us and contacted Mr Macklin who was also kind enough to fit my brother in before the start of official hours.Despite being on leave she remained concerned and followed up on my brother and also arranged the refund asap without any fuss and without me even enquiring about it. I can only vouch for the Dewsbury clinic as clean friendly easy parking and a fabulous Colo-rectal expert/Surgeon.

After experiencing haemorrhoids for a few years, I finally decided to do something about it. I don't favour surgical treatments, so I decided to try this approach.
The treatment is definitely uncomfortable - the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. I think the pain guideline they offer understates things. Because they were only able to use a reduced current for me, it took much longer than originally planned. Just be prepared to be flexible on the day.
However, my recovery was quite quick, with some discomfort effectively addressed with a Panado. My symptoms have definitely subsided to where I was years ago and after just one treatment.
I received the 4-week follow-up call after I completed the emailed follow-up form. A follow-up treatment was suggested, but I have decided to wait and see if that is really necessary. I am more diligent about including fibre in my diet, maintaining hydration, and exercising a little more.

I discovered this treatment after other treatments on the NHS failed (including banding) Having had surgery for Haemorrhoids previously I knew for sure I didn't want to go down that route. I had 2 sessions of Exroid treatment, neither were very painful and the result has to date proved very successful. I would definitely recommend considering this above other treatments

Biggest waste of money, don’t do it. I have one small hemmorhoid and didn’t even work on that. Trust all the bad reviews - total con.

Thank you so much Dr Rosa and everyone at eXroid. I have suffered and put up with what I now know is 3 stage 2 hemorrhoids for 20 years. After the treatment I had and consultation at Harley Street I have no hesitation on recommending any one in two minds not to delay and book yourself In for a consultation ASAP. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner as no more bleeds or pain when walking our dog and a general life changing start to everyday :)

Pay attention to the negative reviews as well as the positive.
Peoples reviews made this sound like a miracle cure.
I went in December 2023 with 3 haemorrhoids, two grade 3 and one grade 2. They were prolapsing due to weightlifting I'd just started with a PT. I packed that in before my treatment.

The treatment is very uncomfortable not just a little.
After my first treatment it took the pressure off immediately after and they definitely shrunk. I was happy with this and happy to wait on the nhs waiting list for further treatment.
After 5 weeks I received a call from a man asking if the problem was resolved to which I said I think I have 1 left as thats all I can feel but its small and a lot lot better. He then said that I "need" to come back and book in for further treatment or they will just come back. I told him I don't have the money for further treatment right now and he pressed down further telling me to get finance. The call felt like a pressured sales call not just a check-up.
I then booked the 2nd treatment on the call after he worried me and made me feel as though my money would just be wasted.

My 2nd treatment (where I found out I still had 3 haemorrhoids- one gade 1, two grade 2) was much more uncomfortable then the first and felt like hot matches going up.
Straight after the treatment I felt a big pressure and a swollen feeling which continued on for weeks. There was a lot more blood than my first treatment and I could then feel 2 big lumps hanging out any time I went to the toilet.
When I received my after call and told them things are now worse they offered me a free consultation but seen as though im in Leeds and they're in Manchester I didn't fancy another trip there for them to say I need more expensive treatment that clearly isn't working. I looked online and I booked with Spire Hospital instead to see a colorectal surgeon. He examined me and said I now have two prolapsed grade 3 and a grade 1 haemorrhoid. So after spending nearly 2k on "treatment" I'm still with 3 haemorrhoids and only 1 has shrunk, 2 are worse.
I spoke to them again on the phone as I want some of my money back to put towards treatment with the private hospital and they told me to email.
I emailed and the response felt cold and lacking care with complete refusal to give me back any of the money even though the problem is now worse.

I would never recommend this treatment. Go to a proper hospital and find out your options as you will just have to keeping going back to them and wasting your hard earned cash.
They will never give a refund even if they make it worse for you.

From booking the appointment at the Birmingham Clinic to having the treatment I had a very professional experience and staff put me at great ease. I had one grade 3 haemorrhoid very painful
Which was successfully treated after one treatment a truly life changing experience well worth the fee and will return if the symptoms ever return.
Now pain free and enjoying life to the full.

The doctor and assistant nurse were great, punctual and efficient. Despite every positive review I'd read about the treatment, my personal experience was painful and even though I was laying on my side I felt faint and nauseous with the discomfort. The doctor said the piles were reduced by 20% after the treatment and that they would continue to reduce in size over next 4 weeks, that was 5 weeks ago. There has been no change in size or discomfort. I was expecting more significant results, and because of this for me I feel it was a waste of money. You go in for the procedure in hope that you will be a success story. Those reviews that you read of someone else's bad experience you ignore, hoping to be pain free within 24 hours bouncing back into a "normal" existence! Heres another unsuccessful experience to read and to ignore.
My friend had exactly the same treatment abroad...it cost less than 1/4 the price and he was given an epidural to avoid pain and discomfort.

Had treatment in Liverpool clinic recently, and have had no problems since then. Treatment was not entirely comfortable, but was well worth it. Back to normal activities straightaway. Two months later, and no symptoms at all. Fingers crossed I won't need any further treatment. Would highly recommend.

My life has actually been transformed since having this treatment. I would highly recommend anyone to have it done. Very professional and efficient company.

From the information on the website, the pre meeting conversation and consultation all aspects were covered and I had clear expectations on what to expect. The procedure was a little uncomfortable and a relief once over. Everything settled down within a week and the problem has resolved. 3 weeks on I gave not experienced any discomfort. The procedure is not cheap but worth every penny.

This procedure has honestly been life changing for me and I would urge anyone suffering with haemorrhoids to go for it! Following the birth of my daughter I was symptomatic of haemorrhoids accompanied by severe pain for 10 weeks. Everytime I sought treatment via the NHS I was fobbed off and told it was “just haemorrhoids” and to increase fluids and fibre in my diet.. as if I hadn’t tried this already!
From the first phone call I felt completely at ease that my symptoms would be taken seriously and treated effectively. I was able to get an appointment the same week. Dr Oshowo was very welcoming and professional, explained the procedure thoroughly and always made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The procedure was completed with ease and I was able to enjoy normal activities straight away.
It was discovered I had a fissure which was the cause of the severe pain I was experiencing and treatment was provided for this.
I am now 4 weeks post treatment and feel back to my normal “pre-haemorrhoid self”! I no longer fear going to the toilet and can finally enjoy bonding with my baby pain free. The best money I’ve ever spent!
