I booked a car for 2 weeks from this company through CarJet.com UK website. When I arrived to Antalya Airport they declined to give me a car, but insisted to sell me a new car rental agreement at twice the price I paid at CarJet UK website. Their claim was that they could not deduct the €1200 of deposit on my credit card. The guy at the check-in desk cancelled my booking when I declined to take their offer. Why should I? I completed my car rental booking in the UK before I started my trip. It does not make sense to take their offer at twice the price. My VISA card is from a highly reputable Canadian bank with a high monthly limit to cover my travel expenses, and it is a First Class Travel Card with built in travel insurance against all type incidents, including fully comprehensive car rental. In addition I used the same credit card in Canada and the UK for car rental and there has never been an issue with deposit collection and refunds at the end of my trip.

Upon my return to the UK I informed CarJet UK that Express Car Rental cancelled my contract and did not give me a car and that they tried to sell me a seperate car rental contract. After 4 weeks of back-and-forth correspondence now CarJet is not refunding the initial £15 deposit I paid during my online booking because apparently Express Cars claim my credit card was not suitable for car rental.

Total rubbish!.. Because 2 days later I rented another car from a different car rental company in Antalya and they could collect and refund the full deposit on the same credit card.

£15 is not a big amount, however in principal the deposit should be refunded when a service is not delivered. This is a total scam! Never again will I use Express Car Rental and CarJet.

Scammers.. they dont honour the quote on the website at all. faked a failed deposit transaction at the till and create artificial emergency and then sell you the car at higher price... really fake. and scammers. stay away, dont fall for ridiciculous low prices offered

Absolute SCAM.. I paid via car jet for a fully insured vehicle with 2 drivers. For me to get to antayla, this company come and picked me up from the airport and took me to a place in the middle of nowhere to make out my 2 credit cards wouldn't work for a deposit. But it magically worked when they charged me £200 for the SAME CAR. SCAMMING COMPANY WITH NO WAY TO CONTACT. KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOUR HAPPY MEMORIES, CAUSE THIS HAS RUINED ALL OF MINE!!!!!

À éviter absolument – pratique douteuse et impression d’arnaque

Nous avions réservé via la plateforme Carjet avec une assurance maximale. Première mauvaise surprise : plus d’une heure d’attente à l’aéroport pour qu’on vienne nous chercher.

Arrivés sur place, l’employé d’express car Antalya m’annonce que ma carte Visa est une carte de débit . Nous proposons d autres cartes American Express , la carte de crédit de ma femme et après 1h de discussion il nous est « impossible » de finaliser la réservation effectuée via Carjet.

La seule “solution” proposée : refaire un contrat directement chez eux, mais à un tarif bien plus élevé que celui de Carjet. fatigués après le voyage et loin de l aéroport nous avons clairement eu le sentiment qu’ils profitaient de la situation . Ils nous ont aussi assuré que l assurance que nous avions payé avec Carjet  nous serait remboursé ce qui s est avéré totalement faux car l heure du début de contrat avait déjà commencé. Nous n avons pas obtenu de dédommagement de carjet que nous avons sollicité également.

Une expérience très désagréable, des pratiques commerciales plus que limites. Je déconseille vivement.

We had an excellent experience with Express Rental Car! Although we had reserved a 5-seater car many months in advance, our plans changed very shortly before we arrived to pick up the car and we realised we actually needed a van. Express Car Rental were able to make this happen and got us a 9-seater van with our preferred insurance solution for a very reasonable price. Service was friendly and prompt - would recommend when flying into Antalya!

Seem to have fell into the trap of declined credit card pre authorization.
Called barclays bank who said there is no issue it must be the car rentals payment gateway. They can't afford to rent car, and TRAP you to PAY MORE after a long flight - disgraceful!
Tired a different payment machine, tried to resell same rental for 4times more with NO deposit!

I walked away. I will NOT pay extra due to this SCAM.

They then said I had 'passed my reservation time' so cannot get my £5 deposit back.. seems like an obvious scam. I would suggest bringing multiple credit cards to prove that their system is at fault and not UK credit cards who double checked there's no pre authorization blocks in place. I will be chasing for my deposit back, this kind of bad behavior cannot be profited from!

Wir hatten einen Wagen mit Zusatzversicherung über Carjet gebucht. Als wir am Flughafen ankamen, wurde uns das Auto nicht wie beschrieben dort übergeben, vielmehr wurden wir erstmal in die Pampa gefahren (Begründung: "Sie bekommen einen anderen Wagen, dieser ist dreckig"). Dort angekommen, wurde meine Kreditkarte nicht akzeptiert. Stattdessen
bot man uns an, gegen Barzahlung zu mieten, allerdings zum DREIFACHEN PREIS!

Zähneknirschend mieteten wir, da anderenfalls die Kosten für das Auto sowie die Zusatzversicherung weg gewesen wären.

Tatsächlich bekamen wir dann ein schlecht gewartetes Fahrzeug (Motorkontrollleuchte leuchtete durchgehend, Motor röhrte, kein Wischwasser, Tank komplett leer, Bekleidung des Vormieters noch im Wagen, dreckig).

KATASTROPHE! NIE WIEDER! FINGER WEG!

Быстрый трансфер из аэропорта до офиса и машину уже у вас. Когда я проколол колесо, ребята приехали и поменяли мне его, а пока меняли дали подменную машину. Спасибо им большое за всё😉 советую от всей души

I rented a car from here for 10 days and was extremely satisfied. The staff were very attentive, and the cars were exceptionally clean and problem-free. The team was always ready to help with any issues we had. In particular, Mr. Şahin was incredibly professional and kind. Thanks to them, our holiday was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend their service without hesitation.
