Order never arrived company not returning calls or responding to my emails. Disgusting behaviour do not buy!
They send inedible product
I have used this company before without a problem however this time its apparent that the do not care about customers at all! I brought some some sugar cane which was perfect but I also brought 10 prickly pears and a bunch of apple bananas! Both the prickly pears and apple bananas were extremely under ripe and inedible at the time of delivery! I waited a few days to see it they would ripen but they remained much the same so I thought I would email the company to see if there is anything I could do to encourage them to self ripen at home! The response i got was a photo of my under ripe fruit stating that as I left it over 24 hours before contact there is nothing they can do, not even willing to advice me! Honestly do not wait your money, it's an expensive way to purchase inedible fruit with a company that simply does not care!
Shocking lack of customer service
Ordered fruit in 11th April for family dinner on Easter Sunday, Thinking it would arrive on time and fresh. Allowing for delivery time. How wrong I was. Despite numerous emails back and forth, and a final email on Thursday last week assuring me it was out for delivery that day. It never arrived. Have asked twice for a refund but refused. Do not recommend this company. Buy elsewhere. Awful customer service.
First Time Customer
The guavas were perfect. Under ripe but soon ripened on the windowsill. The mangoes were very over ripe and some were inedible. I was disappointed as I had been looking forward to my first alphonso of the season. This is the risk you take when you order online.
Disappointing
Disappointing, some of the fruits received in the box were battered and bruised! I’m sure items were missing and just replaced with general fruit like a satsuma, only nice things were the very small mangosteen which I paid extra for and the yellow passion fruit! Don’t think I will be ordering again!
Sent me rotten fruit …
Sent me rotten fruit and weaseled their way out of it by only refunding the one item that was rotten even though the rest of the fruit was tarnished as a result of sitting with rotten produce, crap company don’t bother with these people
A lot of rotten fruit and missing items
If you have had similar problems to me:
1) Do contact citizens advice - trading standards 2);Do contact your bank and raise a dispute/cashback claim. It is the only way to deal with this awful company.
A substantial proportion of my delivery was rotten/inedible and a further substantial proportion was just missing. I have NEVER had this type of issue with any produce supplier in UK and am finding it extremely difficult to get any sensible response. Being offered a refund for a very small fraction is insulting. I spent over £80:00 and am trying to salvage what i can but its not really enjoyable…I immediately notified them there was an issue on receipt and said i would follow up with details which i did. The customer service is also not fit for purpose from all i have seen to date.

Fruit that’s gone off
Brought soursop for my mother who has cancer to help her and they sent one that’s gone off and rock solid, I don’t know much about the fruit so kept it a day or two but went black and impossible to eat, sent them pictures and requested a refund and they said because I didn’t sent the image the same day they can’t do anything but as a “sorry” can offer me 5% discount on my next order, lost a customer for life even though I showed them proof of a rotten fruit. There’s so many alternative companies that give such better fruit I would avoid this company.
DO NOT USE - fruit was expired when received and no refund
Send out old, withered fruit and dont refund even when I sent pictures. all the fruit was past its best, some way past, brown and wrinkly. They refunded me £1. This was a birthday present for my son and he was incredibly excited to get the fruit and very upset when the delivery came. Terrible customer service. Patronising, telling me that fruit is soft sometimes. Geez! Then that wrinkled fruit is fine. Their standard is very low and the attitude towards customers is appalling. Never ever use this terrible company. They couldnt care less.
No fruit, No refund
Extremely un-ethical and will never order from again. I ordered about 8 fruits, was home all day on delivery day. Day was a non-raining day, had been very sunny. I get no knick, and no ring at the bell but do get an email notification that the fruits were outside. I go to the door immeditly, to discover a completley soaked through package. On both sides. I send pictures to exotic fruits and wait 3 days, they respond saying "I didn't send pictures of the actual fruit within 24 hours so there will be no refund." I sent a very clear picture of the item, completely drentched, in the bin. On purpose, they asked a 7 month pregnant woman to dig through their rubbish (which wasn't going to happen) four days after the fruits had been thrown in the bin. If they had told me within a few hours, I could have taken another picture but they purposefully ensured that this would not happen. No fruit, no refund, would NOT recommend.

I was slightly disappointed that there was no information regarding the ripeness of the fruit, I had to contact exotic fruits directly for that, also very few instructions for the seeds I bought but on the whole my parcel came quickly, I was kept informed about the delivery so quite good

I received my first box yesterday
I received my first box yesterday, and I am highly impressed with the packaging. None of the fruits were bruised, and they were maintained at an appropriate temperature. I am enjoying the experience of trying out new fruits that I had not encountered before. I wholeheartedly recommend this service.

AVOID!!! ROTTEN & BLAND FRUIT
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! I looked at their site and thought wow, I can order fresh, exotic fruits for me and my family so I placed an order of a mix of different fruits that were available, most of the fruits weren't available, maybe due to being out of season, I don't know, but my order was close to £150.00. The order was delayed due to apparantly 1 piece of fruit being 'over ripe' and them not wanting to send fruit out like that. When it arrived I though wow, great....however this is where it goes downhill. Everything looked grey and pastey, not vibrant or sweet smelling at all. Oranges dry and crusty with no flavour, no juice, durian fruit was completely rotten and grey, I know it smells anyway buttons was fully rotten and leaking juice, same as the soursop, very sour with grey and mold on skin. This was on the day of delivery, my wife and I took photos and emailed them that same night. That was a week ago and nobody feels the need to reply. The mangos had gone bad the next day. The cactus pears had no flavour, the papaya fruits absolutely no flavour either. Really really disappointed. Apart from the terrible custoner service which seems to be non existent the fruit was crap. Its better from a market. Don't waste your time and money.
