Truly dreadful service.
After ordering I got an email to say that, due to substandard stock, delivery would be delayed for two days.
The fruit didn't arrive so I emailed asking for an update. I repeated this twice more over the following week and got no reply to any of them.
As I'd paid through shop.app I reported Exotic Fruits to them.
A few days later I got notification of shipment by email without even a trace of an apology.
The fruit were fine but I'll never order from them again.
BEWARE!!
Service is good, fruit not so much
Service is good, but fruits were much smaller than we expected (tiny guava, passion fruit compared to what we expected) and a mix of under-ripe and over-ripe unfortunately. Just don't have high expectations if you want to use them - we won't be again, as just don't think it's worth it for the money. We'll stick to whatever fruits our local greengrocer has I think.
Ordered lots, received nothing.
Ordered on the 14th of August and expected to receive the fruit the next week, as per their website. When nothing appeared, waited a few more days, and then contacted them as there was still nothing. They apologised and said they were closed for a holiday - though that hadn't been stated anywhere on the website - but would send out my order on the 26th of August.
On the 26th I received an email saying there was a delay while they sourced a couple of things that were missing, and I would definitely receive my order on or by the 29th.
I emailed them earlier today to ask what was happening, as I've had no dispatch confirmation, and I've had no response. We are now at almost 9pm on the 29th, so it's definitely not arriving today!!
I have however received an email saying: "We hope you’re loving your fruits as much as we loved picking them out for you!
Now that you’ve had a chance to dive into all those yummy flavours, we’d love to hear what you think.
Your feedback helps us keep bringing you the best of the best. So if you’ve got a minute, we’d really appreciate it if you could leave us a quick review.

So here I am, leaving a review as requested on the box I still haven't received, and that nobody is keeping me informed on.
So at this point, I would say avoid and go elsewhere. Because this company don't send you what you order, and don't readily reply to emails.

Overpriced fruit, underwhelming website that doesn’t function well. You’ve a 404 error on your contact us page. Then you’ve the audacity to charge more money for deliveries made to Scotland! It’s not you delivering it it’s Royal Mail / yodel / DPD or EVRI you would only pay more if it needs to get thrown on a boat or plane to go to one of the tiny islands like Orkney and Shetland etc (which is the Highlands and Islands and that’s understandable that the costs added in that circumstance because only then is when the delivery agent adds this extra price on. the majority of Scotland is Still attached by land to england it’s bizarre that you’ve added on this imaginary cost at double the expense of the customer (your customer that’s meant to trust you) even when 99% of Scotish consumers will be from mainland UK. Keep your apples & misshapen fruit . I’ll buy them from somewhere this side of the wall.
Terrible company
Terrible company, ordered fruits on the 9th of July and as we speak I still have not received my order and their excuse is that their warehouse was late to pick up the order, terrible company never ordering from them again.
Rotten fruit, very poor customer service.
What a terrible experience ordering with this company. I placed my order and delivery day but the parcel did not reach me. I contacted Exotic fruits for an update as the courier tracking wasn't working. No reply to any emails, and days passed with no order. The fruit eventually arrived 6 days past the deliver date. The box had partially disintegrated due to the fluids from the rotten fruit. None of the fruit was edible. The company keeps parroting a statement about such events being a consequence of shipping perishable goods. But that does not explain their inability to reply to any emails, or to answer the phone. I repeatedly asked for a full refund. Instead they made a repeat order, which I did not want, and I am now waiting for a refund to reach my credit card. Don't order from this company.
First and last order
This was my first - and last - order with Exotic Fruits. Half of the contents were badly damaged and inedible because the packaging was inadequate and gave next to no protection to the fruits. The company's response was to issue a refund for the damaged items. This left me paying the full £6.99 delivery charge on the edible items with a value of just £6.50. They did offer me a code with £5 off my next order but this is of no value to me as I certainly won't be ordering with them again.
I didn’t receive my order
I didn’t receive my order, my emails are ignored, I have been provided with a photo of my gate , but I was in all day nobody came to my door, so why was the parcel left unattended. Why am I being ignored. Don’t buy from these people I got no delivery and no refund I’m going to trading standards. Hopefully stop them doing this to other people. From the reviews I’m not the first

**DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE*** I received 4 exotic fruits everything else I could purchase from Tesco. When I sent pictures of the rotting fruit I received a refund of £3.15. The box was damaged on arrival and none of the 10 fruits were suitable for consumption. I received a £5 voucher for my next order??? i paid just under £30 and i requested a full refund as the fruits were mouldy. Save yourself the trouble and spend money elsewhere. I have photographs I am happy to share!!

Avoid at all cost
Ordered as a gift. Tracked the delivery and my package was on the van for 2 days before eventually delivered. Items were terribly packaged, box was partially open with the straw inside sticking out, fruit all bashed and half the items were rotten and had mold on them! I don't expect to hear back from the company after I've sent an email and images of the rotten fruit, I will certainly not make the mistake and order again. Absolutely disgusting

No response to emails. Fruits are usually out of stock, you place an order, they take your money and they don't have the fruits or veg in stock, no correspondence, no response to emails at all. Very bad service. Will not buy from them again.
Good customer service but no delivery
So I made an order a few weeks ago and was told that my order will be dispatched on Thursday so it can come Friday (I did have to chase them) waited in on Friday. No order came. I asked for a refund after seeing the reviews I thought yep here we go, no fruit and no refund and I'm going to have to go trading standards. I received a very apologetic email and was told I would be refunded in 5 working days. Still not believing it but I received the refund as promised. Still disappointed that I didn't get to try the fruits that had been ordered

I wish I had checked reviews beforehand. Purchased two sugar apples which were delayed on three occasions. By the time they arrived they were inedible and brown. No apologises or refund. I may as well have thrown £20 in the garbage . Disgusting fruit and service.

disappointing, fruits are really small and most of them too ripe. way to expensive for what was delivered.
A fruit shaped adventure
Received as a thoughtful gift and has been an adventure in a box. it’s been a fruity lottery of loveliness. An exotic surprise around every corner. I have loved everything. I tasted and enjoyed fruit I would never have chosen myself, dragon fruit, rambutan, star fruit etc.
Everything lasted (Kept in the fridge) until it was enjoyed.
A great idea and a fantastic gift to receive.
Avoid - Send rotten fruits
We were rather dissappointed with our box as 6 of the fruits within it were off.
3 of the Lychees were all squishy and mushy, couldn't be cut, just mushed up, clearly had gone over. We bought replacements of these from Tesco which were in much better condition. Unfortunately my kids had already thrown these before I could get a picture. I did however, manage to snap the passion fruit, which as you can see is very dented and bruised and was very soft and squishy to touch too, again clearly gone over and it tasted off, I replaced these with better quality ones, also from tesco. And then 2 of the mangosteen were rotten. Image of Mangosteen also attached. I couldn't get a replacement for these.
A very disappointing fruit box overall as well as being a disappointing fathers day gift. Not what was expected from an exotic fruits wholesalers nor for the price. I've recieved no response from them so far.
