Like a previous listing here

Like a previous listing here, I was not aware of the imminent migration of my talk talk e mail to Everymail. I cannot get through the help bot( misnomer if there ever was one) to get through to a person to help. Message says id code sent to alternative e mail address I don't have one. No contact number nothing. Abandoned by TalkTalk. First I knew the change occurred, as previous listing was a sum paid to Everymail. Now I am in limbo, unable to access my e mail page or access Everymail to ascertain my account. I might lose every thing by the 31st October.

Worried about this transfer

Since the switchover from TalkTalk I am getting daily spam emails from people with Everymail on the stem of their address.
Also when I was clearing out my Direct Debits, before I knew about the change, I removed one to an unknown, to me, Everymail thinking it was phishing. Now I am struggling to reinstate a payment method. Have been on to the App and the website without success. My £50 subscription paid toTalkTalk for several years now is due to end at the end of the year and I need to keep access to my Tiscali addresd

Everymail scam

I am trying to contact everymail to discuss a refund as I did not choose to subscribe to the email service and want a refund for the £50 that was taken without my permission.
I have messaged the auto chat thing and gone through the hoops to validate my account about 6/8 times and they keep saying someone will be with you soon or you are number 4/3/2 in the queue and then nothing.
I'm getting really frustrated and feeling like I've been scammed

cannot access email even though have supposedly subscribed?

I have a talk talk email address, I signed up for the everymail trial this morning in order to access my emails. Halifax queried whether it was a scam. I authorised a payment of £0.00 and future payments of £5, yet I still cannot access my emails.

When I subscribed, I entered my Gmail address for billing purposes so that any confirmation or updates would reach me if I lost access to my TalkTalk account. Despite this, I have received no confirmation email of the subscription, yet the company already has authorisation to take payment from my account once the trial ends.

This service has taken payment details without delivering what was promised. I want the trial cancelled immediately.

Warning to others: avoid this service until they provide transparency, proper communication, and reliable customer support.

I have a talktalk email

I have a talktalk email. I was advised it was changing so I paid the fee. Last Monday I lost access to my email as it says my password has changed. I have NOT changed my password. I contacted Everymail 2 automated chats who kept asking to send a code through to my email to verify it's me and I keep explaining I don't have access to my emails. 1 live chat and I was advised to contact talk talk. I have now spoken to 3 people at talk talk who advise me it's everymail. I am fuming. This customer service is a disgrace. I just want to regain access back to my emails

Every mail.com Lost Email Retrieval.

I am a private rental tenant in a retirement flat. I have to have a landline number to secure my tenancy. Total nonsense in this day and age. I had broadband with talktalk for 14 years. Then decided to try Sky 2 years ago, as talktalk costs were increasing and they couldn’t give me a good discount. I was informed that I would need to relinquish my talktalk email address. I tried to migrate my talktalk emails to another email account. This failed and has caused me no end of issues. After contacting talktalk, they sent me to every mail.com. They said I had to pay a yearly subscription if £50 to get my emails back. I have done this and my landlord has said this is a scam and I should not be paying for an email account. I need to look into this further. It does feel like a con.

Hi Margaret,

I'm David, from Everymail - it isn't a con or a scam. TalkTalk decided that they would not be providing email for free anymore, for people who weren't their broadband customers. My company had already been providing and running the TalkTalk email service for a long time, and we came up with a plan to offer subscriptions for the people who might want to keep their email address and all their emails instead of losing them.

It does cost money to do it though, and so we charge what we hope is a fair amount for the value this provides, so the people who are interested in keeping that old email going can do so.

No idea if my account has accepted £50 fee

On behalf of my 87 year old mother-in-law.
Disappointed and frustrated with the charge. To avoid the work in moving to another provider with a different email address, made the £50 charge. It was rejected by the bank as a potentially fraudulent transaction. 3 attempts to extract the payment rejected, last on 6th Sept, but unfortunately my M-i-L was on a cruise and did not have a mobile with her so did not know about this. No telephone or email address to contact Everymail. Managed to login to account, and found a section on the payments. It implied that the one year subscription was in place until 6th Sept 2026, detailing the bank card used, yet no evidence payment has been taken. Now I cannot find this information against the account anymore. Please can someone contact me from Everymail asap to let me know the position and where I can see account payment information. My M-i-L is really anxious she is going to lose everything and you have her payment details

Hello Andy,

First of all, please tell your mother-in-law not to worry - there's time to get this sorted.

These kinds of bank rejections do unfortunately happen because we're all trying to keep people safe and make sure they don't get scammed. When the bank rejection does happen, we send lots of reminders, as you saw, and we keep retrying to bill. All we need to do is make sure the bank will allow the charge, or use another payment method.

I was able to retry the billing immediately (thank you for providing the information!), but unfortunately, the payment is still being blocked by the bank. I'll send you a private message with more details, but the upshot is that or your mother-in-law will have to contact the bank that issues that card or try a different payment.

There's not much that we can do on my side in this case because the bank needs to know that you want this charge to go through - and for your security, that's not something we can do - they have to hear it from you (or your mother-in-law).

As far as managing billing, I'll send some more detailed information on this but you can review your payment information in My Account by clicking "Payment Methods" on the left, then clicking the "View/Edit Payment Methods" button.

When a payment is failing, we send emails asking you to take action - like the ones you got - and we continue trying to bill every few days. Even if this failed for too long (over a month or so), the account would be canceled, but you would still be able to subscribe for 60 days, so there is time.

Please look for my email and you can reply to let me know if you've spoken to the bank and we can try the charge again.

Direct debit

I was not notified of the migration to Everymail from Talktalk and was notified by my bank that a Direct debit had been set up to Everymail, I cancelled the direct debit thinking it was a scam to now find out it was genuine and I will be unable to use my email after 31st October. I have tried but not been able to contact customer service to set up a new Direct debit. The whole migration process has not been communicated to me at all by either talktalk or everymail.

UPDATE: After posting on here I was contacted directly by everymail with a link to my new account (which actually worked unlike other links I had tried)

Hi Ray,

It's understandable if you canceled the mandate without recognizing it. We at Everymail worked with TalkTalk extensively on the communications that were sent to you and other TalkTalk users - I'm not sure if what TalkTalk sent you went to spam or if it was lost some other way, but there was a lot of thought put into communicating about this transition, and you SHOULD have received communication about it.

About your situation, though, all you need to do is log into My Account and set up a new direct debit mandate (or any other form of payment you wish) and everything will be fine. I'll send you a direct message to your Everymail contact address with more info.

I have started a 30 day free trial with every mail but have decided that I want to unsubscribe but I have spent hours trying to do this. There is no obvious way to do this within the manage my account section as the help page suggests. It appears that they are deliberately making it difficult to unsubscribe and the live chat help is worse than useless. Very poor customer care.

Hi Chris,

To cancel your account, you just need to go to "Subscriptions" on the left, in My Account. Here you find a full explanation, and you can click the small button to turn off "Auto-Renew for Everymail Subscription".

This will ensure you won't be bill after your trial period has ended, but you'll keep access for the rest of the trial period.

This works the same way if you have an active subscription - it will make it so you finish out your current paid subscription but won't be billed again.

I'm sorry you had a hard time finding this, but I promise we're not trying to hide anything :)

Unable to access my email since transition to Everymail

Subject: Urgent Help Needed – Unable to Subscribe to Everymail Service

Dear Everymail Support,

I have the exact same experience as reviewer, Peter M.

TalkTalk has informed me that my email service has been transitioned to Everymail. However, when I follow the link provided, I’m redirected back to the TalkTalk domain, and I’m unable to access any clear method to subscribe or activate my account. An error message comes up.

TalkTalk has advised that I must subscribe to Everymail to retain my email address, but they also stated they cannot assist further and that I need to contact Everymail directly.

Unfortunately, I’ve spent several hours over a period of days trying to find a way to do this — without success. There appears to be no straightforward way to pay for the service or get support. On the chat box I verify and get a pin code which I input and then receive a message that there is a problem and it can’t connect me to a live agent.

I find I am in an incredulous situation where I can’t access email, with a countdown to account deletion on 31/10/25, and no way to speak to anyone at Everymail to resolve.

All I want is to subscribe and get access. Like Peter, I want to resolve the following asap.

How to subscribe or activate my account
Any support channels I can use to resolve this

Thanks

I can understand your frustration at being asked to pay to keep a service that TalkTalk had been providing for free. We are not TalkTalk, but Everymail - we've been running the email platform for a long time for TalkTalk.

Since TalkTalk have made the decision that they will not continue providing email for free to those who are no longer their broadband customers, we at Everymail have stepped in with a plan and service to help those customers who wish to keep their existing emails and email addresses.

But we can't do this for free.

To ensure these email accounts remain secure and reliable, we do need to charge a fair fee - one that reflects the value and peace of mind that our service delivers.

Hi Jim,

I'm really sorry for the time it took to resolve this issue. I can tell you we were quite focused on getting it squared away on our end, but it did take a longer time than we wanted. I appreciate your feedback about not getting enough from us in the way of updates, and we'll work on improving there, to give more frequent updates to let our customers know more frequently when we're still working on an issue.

This issue IS resolved, as of 16 September, and you should have been updated then (I can't confirm this, as we did have a few customers affected by this particular problem, and I'm not sure your account details - don't post them here though!)

I think things should be settled and working, as I mentioned, but in case you are still having problems with this issue, please come back to the support chat and let us know, so we can reopen the case.

Update on my earlier review from 1 star to 4 stars

Absolutely non existent customer service, no telephone number, no email address, only live chat and they're useless as well they just send their already generated template responses, they dont interact at all! A multi million pound company yet dont have an email address or telephone number for customer service and thats just been clarified by an agent on live chat. All they do is let you know they have escalated to another department who will be in touch by email, yet you cant reply to that email directly so will have to go back onto chat to discuss it. Absolute joke

Update: Since my bad experience I had a telephone call from the Manager at Everymail who sorted out my query and was extremely helpful and apologetic. Hopefully customer service will be improved and therefore I would give it 4 stars
