Quick process, delivered on time all at a reasonable price. What more could you want?

I ordered from Essential Photo and Video for the first time this week. A strobe and several modifiers. Everything was delivered as ordered and on time. I would certainly order from this company again.

Customer service from hell. I am now two weeks into a "next day" delivery of diffusers for my softbox. First, they charged me a fortune for next-day delivery, then didn't send it, claimed that another department had sent it, then admitted that other department hadn't. When the diffusers arrived they were the wrong size (100 and 115 cm for a 105 cm fit) so then I had to fight to return them. They've had them for five days now and no action. Today's phone call to chase the issue resulted in someone having lunch at 3.30 so no answers and a request for my phone number which they must already have had. I'm just getting the runaround with shoddy goods and worse customer service.

On the website the minimum length of the lighting stands is stated to be 100cm. It is in fact 105cm, so the stands will not fit in the carry case that I have. I filled in and submitted the form for a refund, and to return the stands, but have had no response

Great service, and price, they had it in stock, lot of other companies on back order. Kept advised via email through out the process, and arrived on time. Why would you use anyone else ?

Customer service says As previously mentioned, we do not make guarantees on when shipments will arrive with us, we can only provide an estimate.

They provide estimates times in weeks and takes months and still I haven’t to the items.

And when I question them they only give you option to refund
Why would I ask for refund after waiting for 2month ?
Let’s wait and see how long I will take me to receive item

First, I accidentally used the wrong payment method through PayPal and needed to cancel my order. I called the team and George sorted everything out quickly and professionally without any issues.

Then — completely my mistake again — when placing the new order, I accidentally selected Canon triggers instead of Nikon 😅
Once again, I contacted George, and once again everything was handled smoothly, calmly and professionally.

Nowadays, great customer service is becoming rare, so when a company genuinely helps customers without stress or complications, it deserves recognition.

Professional, patient, reliable and genuinely helpful from start to finish.

Stay away from this shop. They sent me a broken camera in a scratched box, then had the nerve to try to deduct 20% from my refund by falsely claiming I kept the USB cable. That is a complete lie. This feels like a blatant attempt to scam customers during the returns process. Avoid these scammers at all costs.

Made an order, paid P&P to arrive within 4 days. Got a call from DHL to say it won’t be arriving on the 4th day. Called customer services and they gave no service, so Iv cancelled the order for a full refund.

First customer service person was very blasé. Second customer service person was so adamant on providing information that she wasn’t actually answering my simple questions, was a bit annoying asking when will I receive my full refund twice as she simply waffled on and didn’t actually answer the question.

Scammed me. Bought 3 x pantographs for a studio setup for £170 each.
The ones that arrived are much cheaper than the ones pictures and a completely different model that is available on amazon and other sites for £70. Absolute scam, be careful.

On March 16th, I placed an order for Gofox video lights with an estimated delivery timeframe of 2 to 4 days. Given the critical nature of an upcoming project, I relied heavily on this promised delivery date. However, several days have passed without any updates regarding my order's status. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that due to significant events, they were unable to process my order and ensure timely delivery. This situation is highly unsatisfactory, unprofessional, and reflects poorly on customer service. I am now facing significant challenges with my project and client commitments.
After I sent all the details regarding my order, no one updated me. The estimated delivery time passed, and there's no update. Worst experience,you need to be careful when buying from them. Customer service is zero.
Just to let you know, last week they said I would get my item this week. Still no news or updates. Think about it before buying anything from this store.
Today, after nearly three weeks, they wasted my time and lied to me regarding the delivery time. Now they've said they can't send this item and don't have it. Don't buy anything from them. Don't trust them at all. Be careful, guys.

All of the staff at the photography show were super helpful and the guest speakers always put on a great show.
