Having used this product for severely years, found easy to use and setup. Careful reading of documents and screen shots is very helpful. No impact on system performance. My actual rating is more likely however to be 9/10, not 5/5, so this is 4/5 = 8/10.

not competent in internet person
Being not competent in internet/cloud etc technology , I have no idea of what is happening behind the screen. I do not know if ESET has saved me 1000 times or none. However I do know that I can use the internet (even when residing in different countries from time to time) without on line harassment. I do receive, from ESET, notices of suspect web site addresses and I respect that advice.

I have never had a virus and I love the integration with Microsoft Outlook and being able to flag scam emails.
I have been using ESET av since the days of NOD32. In the 1990's.

Praise for ESET security
I discovered your app through a small tech firm several years ago, and have been using ESET ever since. Prior to that I had been using Norton and disliked the frequent messaging abd increased costs for no apparent reason. I think ESET provide the protection needed for my laptops and mobile phone. I use both Windows and Android devices.

The technician/engineer
The technician/engineer, Jeff, was well informed about the IT computer industry. Speaking to him was like talking to a good friend about how to repair my car. He kept it simple and listened to my concerns. At the same time I knew he was an expert in this field.
He had patience and did not rush the inquiry.

Problem with Chinese input in browser
Basically working very well, but the browser protection function of the ESET software prevented me to use Q9 Chinese character input, so that now I have to switch it off to use it. I hope this can be improved in later versions or updates.
