I understand how receiving documents by email can feel inconvenient, especially if you’re more comfortable with physical copies. At this time, all letters are delivered digitally through email and your client portal, which allows for faster delivery and easy access whenever you need it.

While we don’t currently offer mailed copies, it’s something we’re actively working on improving for the future based on feedback like yours.

Terrible Customer Support

They don't reply emails. Sending a contact form is also useless. This company seems to run in auto-pilot without customer support. Also, the platform only accepts US phones, and for people from abroad, about to move to the USA, this is a problem. Y had to reach the therapist using public contact information, and explain my situation so he ended up calling to my non-us phone.

highly professional ESA vendor

they dont flood you with nonsense marketing promotions - strictly professional. some ESA vendors are shady: these folks are legit. Licensed providers in the right state, no flashing ads / distractions for stuff you dont need, and easy portal use. issued in 2 days exactly as stated.

With so many illegitimate websites… trust ESAPET

With so many illegitimate websites out there, it was hard to narrow down what would work for me. I am so glad I found this site. The process was pretty seamless and they have great customer service. I didn’t expedite my order and still received my letter within less than a week. My apartment ended up needing an additional letter afterwords and their customer service quickly responded and got in contact with my assigned therapist, received the additional letter same day. Overall, if you are looking for someone to trust and quick response time I highly recommend.

efficient and effective and very worthwhile

ESAPet was efficient at providing support and the letter was accepted and approved successfully. The cost was worthwhile as it saved near $1000 in deposits and annual pet rent. I like that they provide clear information on types of ESAletters.

The website wording about timing is a little odd and needs improvement that’s more transparent. You pay extra for fast turnaround, and it’s really 36-48 hours (not one day, not instant) before you get a letter. the clock starts from after the live counseling session, not the free application. Free pre-qualification online application is instant > then they do counseling interview with you in 1-2 days after you pay > then it’s another 1-2 days before you get the letter.

I ordered a ESA letter and a PSD…

I ordered a ESA letter and a PSD CERTIFICATE i Only RECEIVED THE ESA LETTER I had to call in order to get a therapist to give me a review. Also, I’m very disappointed in this service. I need my PSD letter for travel. The therapist never mentioned the psd letter to me, i had to call you guys to get my esa letter after not hearing from anyone for two days.i called yesterday and i got refunded for not receiving the psd letter. Update.esapet was very helpful with fixing my issue a therapist reach out to me and issue a PSD letter right away. Thanks a lot

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear you felt disappointed — that’s never the experience we want for anyone.

I’d like to clarify an important distinction regarding ESA and PSD documentation. An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter is issued when a licensed clinician determines that an animal provides therapeutic emotional support related to a mental health condition.

A Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD), however, is different. In order to qualify as a PSD, the dog must be individually trained to perform at least one specific task directly related to a diagnosed disability. Examples include interrupting panic attacks, providing grounding during dissociative episodes, or performing another trained disability-mitigating function. Simply providing comfort or emotional support does not meet the legal definition of a PSD.

Because of this, clinicians must verify that:
• The individual has a qualifying disability
• The dog has a trained, disability-related task
• The task directly mitigates the effects of that disability

If this information was not confirmed during the evaluation, a PSD letter cannot be ethically or legally issued.

We would be happy to review your case further and clarify next steps if you believe your dog does perform a trained disability-related task. Please reach out to our support team directly so we can assist you personally and make sure you receive clear guidance moving forward.

Your ESA letter was uploaded by your therapist on February 4th and has been available in your client portal since that date. We’ve also been in regular communication with you throughout this process to make sure everything was moving smoothly.

On February 10th, I sent a follow-up email offering assistance with your portal password, even though our system showed that the password had already been reset successfully on your end. We did not receive a response to that message, so we were waiting to hear back from you in case you still needed help accessing your account.

If you are still having trouble logging in, please reply directly to our support email and we will immediately assist you with access. We’re here to help and want to make sure you receive your documentation without any further delays.
