The annotation services provided by Epinote were very high quality and the excellent communication process is also worth mentioning.

Epinote.AI has carried out for us a complex project with BCG Poland where it coordinated the work of field researchers engaged in data collection across >20 locations in Poland. Importantly, Epinote was able to quickly (in 2-3 days) recruit >50 researchers across different towns in Poland (incl. in less-populated areas with limited workforce pool)

Epinote.AI was exceptionally Agile and quickly adapted to changes in research formula ensuring necessary training of researchers & providing expected output on time. What’s more they were able to accommodate numerous changes in the way the data was collected and the data collected itself.

The cooperation was seamless, supported by user-friendly online tools enabling easy research status monitoring & collaboration in real time. This was, we were able to quickly spot any data that is unusual, explain them and agree on areas for deep-dives.

On top of that, the project has been conducted in compliance with the highest safety rules related to COVID-19, incl. monitoring of symptoms of all researchers, additional testing & immaculate crisis mgmt.. along the way

Epinote.ai is a truly great company to collaborate with. Data annotation projects are often much more difficult than their look may suggest. This is the case for us, as we have diverse annotation tasks in ReSpo.Vision, many of them significantly more complicated than standard box/polygon annotations. Epinote excels in delivering high quality of annotation, especially where the task at hand is not a trivial one.
Project setup is very quick and the annotated data is always delivered according to the schedule set at the beginning of the project. If a sudden need arises to scale up the process, Epinote is able to quickly recruit and set up larger number of annotators to deliver the required datasets.
Another important aspect is communication between the teams - our machine learning team and Epinote's project management team; it always goes smoothly, we are able to quickly iterate on evolving concepts of specific tasks annotation, should any need to finetune the methodology come up. Reporting is set up in a clear way, so it's easy to track progress of the annotated tasks.
Epinote's team understands how data annotation fits into the machine learning projects and models lifetime, therefore they know how to deliver high quality data which will result in accurate models (pointing out edge cases, working with the client to correctly understand the task).
