Buyer beware!

Buyer beware!! I have used Envelopes.com for a good 10 years+ for my stationery printing business. What on earth happened to them? Their descriptions no longer describe the product I am getting and have always gotten. I have used BRIGHT WHITE folded notecards 80# and 70# or 80# envelopes for 10 years. Now I keep getting a 32lb cheap (LUX) envelope that does not match the paper and the description says 80# on both A1 and A2. This has happened 3 times and the second time they sent me the exact same mistake. It took them 3 times and 2 months to get it right during my busiest time of the year (Thanksgiving and Christmas). Here in January 2024 I thoughtfully looked over everything I ordered and it happened again. Just called and waited 12min and when I asked to speak to a manager, they hung up on me. I am on hold again right now for 25 min. Customer service sucks. Beyond disappointed. I need to find another company!

I've used Envelopes.com for almost 10…

I've used Envelopes.com for almost 10 years for all of my custom business envelopes and they have gone down hill in the past few years. My recent print job was completely wrong and, after multiple interactions with their customer service reps, they will not send re-prints, allow me to return the print job they messed up or issue a refund. Although my custom format is on file with them (and has been for years) they take no responsibility for their error. I'm basically out $700 and I have to find a new printer to do the job right this time. I will not give them the benefit of the doubt again.

Failed to meet the deadline

Failed to meet the deadline, came up with lots of excuses which changed by the minute, blamed me, blamed the shipping company, blamed anyone they could for missing their deadlines. They even tried to say their production time was longer than whats on their website. Customer service was useless.

Order not received and runaround received by so-called customer service.

I placed an order on Nov. 29th and approved the proof on Nov. 30th for 52 recipient addresses on A7 envelopes. Despite their website saying that production and mailing time takes 5-11 days, it is now Dec. 13th and My order has not even been mailed and is still in “processing”! On Monday, Dec. 11 I spoke to Customer Service and was reassured that my order would be sent overnight mail to me on Dec. 13th. I followed up today Dec. 13th and am now being told that they will be sent on Monday, Dec. 18th! These envelopes are for invitations that need to be mailed by Dec. 15th. This is absolutely unacceptable. I requested to speak to a manager and was told that I could not be transferred to one, and instead a request has to be made for a manager to reach out to me. This is the ABSOLUTE worst customer service that I have ever encountered! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Could not have had a worse experience…

Could not have had a worse experience with them. We placed our order a month ago and haven't heard anything. We finally called to see what was going on and they said there was issues with our art. Their team magically fixed the issues with the art while I was on the phone... and said they would try to start production next week. That is a two month delivery for envelopes and horrible customer service. They didn't offer to credit the order or anything. I would give them zero stars if I could. Plenty of places to get envelopes, I will never order from them again.

Would give no stars if I could. Horrible service, envelopes put into the mail AFTER the promised by date that was paid for dearly, and not a word of apology, refund or anything. They suck. Print your own.

Ordered from them twice, shouldn't have.

Ordered from them twice. First time, the envelopes were over 1 week late and no one could give me any answers as to why they were being processed so slow or if the envelopes had gotten lost. After the fact, one of the support people let it slip that they forgot to order the envelopes to print my order...

Next time I ordered, they promise 24 hour delivery of a proof to approve. 5 days after purchase, I had yet to receive any proof. I contacted them via multiple channels and finally heard back that they could make the proof and send it my way, but they would not be able to speed up production time in order to still get the order to me on the timeline that the website promised when I ordered. I get it if the delay was because I got the proof and did not approve it, but they never sent me a proof to approve! Needless to say, that order got cancelled. Here's hoping that the refund actually hits my account.

I ordered 15 envelops

I ordered 15 envelops, but I paid for next day early AM delivery. I know that it wouldn't go out the same day I ordered it because it was too late. I expected the next day for it to get shipped and the following morning for it to arrive. The day after I ordered it the envelops were sent out, but by noon the following day the package had not arrived early AM. I called customer service and they were mad and arguing with me. They said they would refund the $7 difference between next day and next day early AM. That completely misses the point. Zero accountability. Who pays triple in shipping what the item itself cost if it's not urgently needed ASAP. Don't offer Early AM next day delivery if you can't commit.

Still Waiting

After waiting several weeks for my order, I contacted them through various means (web chat, email, phone) and the only response I received during the whole time was "Your order is in production." To date, I still have not received neither my order or any explanation as to the delay or even what the status is.

Would give zero stars if I could. Worst customer experience getting rush custom envelopes printed and shipped. Normally we would just go with our local print vendor but envelopes.com looked like it would be quicker. Our project was delayed and we kept getting the run around on if our project was even in production.

Totally unresponsive - stealing my money

I ordered several items. Only after the order was placed was I informed several items were back-ordered 1-2 weeks. Its been 2 months now and no word. No response to email or phone calls. No offer for refund. I've had to purchase the items I needed elsewhere and file a claim with my bank to have the money refunded which is a huge waste of my time and energy. Reading the other reviews on here, I'm feeling lucky I at least got part of my order!

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service. Received my envelopes in a timely manner however, 5 of the 8 boxes were defective with glue residue on the flap from the self seals. They cannot be used for small business.

I have called multiple times and sent pictures but they give me the runaround and don’t respond to my emails.

Not a good experience, I wish I would’ve read the reviews prior to ordering from them.

Buyers beware.

Crickets, no people work here...

We ordered on 11/28, there was an issue with the payment but nobody contacted us. We paid again with a different card, but now it's been three weeks and we've not heard a word about our order. I've attempted to call, email, chat and haven't heard a word. Two years in a row we've used this company without issue until this year. I'm just hoping we receive them before we run out.

Absolute disaster of a company. It took 22 days for them to respond to my email. They tell you items will arrive within 7 business days when THEY KNOW there's no chance of that happening. They are deceptive and unethical

I ordered 700 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 envelopes…

I ordered 700 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 envelopes for party invitations I was doing for large group. They only shipped 100 envelopes. When I realized the mistake I called envelopes.com to report the shortage and determine the quickest way to get me the additional 100 envelopes. I had to wait on hold for over 30 minutes. (Their hold music is terrible and it cuts in every minute to remind you that you are still on hold. When I finally got through I explained the problem and told the customer service representative that I needed the additional 100 envelopes overnighted. I even offered to cover the cost of overnight shipping. They assured me that was not necessary. I never got a confirmation the envelopes shipped. So, this morning I sent them an email request and am currently 25 minutes into being on hold. I am beyond frustrated.

Would give 0 starts if I could. They are a MISLEADING company. Their website says all over it Next Day shipping. Well, we chose Next Day shipping and guess when it shipped? 2 weeks later!!!! When I complained, I was told some bs about fine print. If you need something on any reasonable timeline, do not use this company. I will report to a consumer protection agency. Rip off.

0 star - Service and Quality

0 star - An absolute nightmare. They printed the wrong color and blamed me for it. They are not taking responsibility over their mistake and offered me a stellar 10% back to cover for their mistake. Stay away from them, this is a low-level company that doesn't care about quality and service.
