Don't waste your time and money

Placed an order with some items out of stock. A month later the goods are all showing in stock on the website yet still no goods have been despatched to me. I have chased multiple times to be told the order will be "despatched at the end of this week" surprise surprise this hasn't happened. I rang them last week on Friday and was told someone would find out what's going on and call me back before the end of the day....that didn't happen. This company is a scam..steer well clear of them! I now need to try and get my money back which they strangely enough they were very efficient at taking!

I would give zero stars if this was an option.
I read the reviews and decided to take a chance as they were the only website "with stock". They accepted my order and of course took payment immediately. When the goods did not arrive I phoned and was assured they were on their way. I was not convinced and sure enough a few minutes later I received an email saying the order was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 14 days. I have been contacting the email addresses they suggest (sales and accounts) and nothing has been done. No refund is forthcoming and I am furious with myself for not taking notice of other reviews. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! I will be taking this up with Trading Standards as I think the company is a scam.

After a lot of chasing I finally received a refund !

Despite numerous calls and emails still waiting for near on a £1000 pound refund for items that they acknowledged never arrived. Dating back to March
see their lame excuse below.
We would like to sincerely apologize for the continued delay in processing your refund. We understand how frustrating this has been, and we truly appreciate your patience.

We have been informed by several clients that their refunds, originally processed via our payment provider Elavon/Opayo, were not received. Upon investigation, we found that although the refunds were successfully initiated on our end, they were subsequently blocked by the payment provider, which is why the funds never reached your account.

We are now in the process of reissuing these refunds via bank transfer only, as this is currently the most reliable method available. However, refunds are being processed in batches and may take longer than expected.

Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to complete the process as efficiently as possible.

Once your refund has been processed, we will notify you and provide the transaction confirmation for your reference.

We are working very closely with our payment provider to resolve this and we will contact you in due course with confirmation.

We deeply regret the inconvenience this has caused and truly value your continued patience and understanding.

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague - this company shows everything in stock, when it isn't - it took them about 6 weeks to process a refund, and only after I went to Barclaycard and raised a dispute,

My order was marked as 'processing' in…

My order was marked as 'processing' in their tracking system for 10 days, so I sent a chasing email. Prompt response saying that the parts were held in their European warehouse, and were on there way to the UK. I followed up when the forecast delivery was expected and parts arrived the next day. Very helpful and proactive - parts were very good so overall I was pleased, despite the unanticipated delay.

Legrand earth clamp

I ordered 10 of the Legrand earth clamps. They are the only company stocked this item. Because of high demand it arrived 7 days after I ordered. They kept me informed when my order would be delivered. It is very good product which I wanted to use long time ago. I am very happy with the product and will order again from them.

Avoid at all costs

Final update, started court action to recover monies and refund was issued within a couple of days

Update, received another email after submitting this review stating payment would be refunded by the end of last week and discouraging me against filing small claims court, still not received! Have reported them to Trading standards and CMA.

Seems to be an ongoing theme, my purchasing manager placed an order at the beginning of July, we were then told a couple of weeks later that it wasn't actually in stock so requested a refund. We have still not received this after multiple chasing emails, if they choose to reply its always apologies, were working hard to sort it, it will be with you as soon as possible, its a priority'. Clearly this is not the case as it has been over 2 months now!! You cannot contact the account team by phone as it constantly says this person is on the phone and mail box is full so cannot leave a message. I pressed the sales option today but all they can do is pass a message on. Court action will be started to recover if it isn't received by the end of this week!

Never again!

I wish we had read the reviews before placing any other with them. Same issue as most of the people here. Placed an order for something showing in stock, but it wasn't. Cancelled the order and requested a refund over 10 days now and refund not received. I've been chasing via email and I've received the same standard response as everyone else..."sincerely apologise", "refund processed in batched" "we don't have an exact date for the refund"... UNACCEPTABLE!!!

2 WEEKS WAITING ONLY TO CANCEL ORDER

Same as the vast majority, 3 weeks since placing an order and payment, on an item that was "in stock", nothing arrived, on chasing was told another week, because they are sooo busy, honestly I would pay a little more for a business without so many bad reviews. I wont be using them again.*** UPDATE, CANCELLED MY ORDER, HAVING NEVER HAD THE STOCK AT ALL. AVOID AVOID

No parts after nearly 6 months and no refund

Ordered Parts in in March, that was in stock.
Parts had not arrived by early July, offered a refund and over a month later no refund has been received and still being fobbed off.

i would avoid this place

the have given the same response to multiple people, i have had no confirmation email. i have been in communication today with the sales agent via email, they said

At the moment, the refund for your account is still being processed by our admin team. As refunds are handled in batches, we are unable to provide an exact date for completion at this time.

so somebody is at Enrgtech is lying about this.

Also i purchased using a credit card, but will only refund to a bank account,
