I want to leave a fair review based solely on my personal experience with this company.

First of all, I want to acknowledge their professionalism, particularly their communication, the documentation they provided and the way they honoured their warranty. After the first DPF cleaning, they provided me with a fairly comprehensive diagnostic report, including photographs and scanner results, which I personally appreciated.

I also think it is important to clarify that my vehicle was already experiencing issues related to the AdBlue system before they carried out the first DPF cleaning. From that first visit, they clearly informed me, with supporting documentation, that there was an issue with the AdBlue system that needed to be repaired.

After the first cleaning, the vehicle developed problems with the DPF again. I contacted them and they honoured their warranty, returning to carry out a second intervention. At that point, they again stressed that the issue with the AdBlue system needed to be repaired and, specifically, advised me that the injector needed to be replaced, otherwise the DPF problem could continue.

Following their recommendation, I had the injector replaced.

Unfortunately, even after following the recommendation they had given me from the initial diagnosis and reiterated during their second intervention, the vehicle developed the DPF problem for a third time.

I want to make it clear that the company did respond and honoured their warranty. Even after the problem occurred for the third time, the warranty remained valid and they were willing to inspect the vehicle again. I genuinely recognise and appreciate this, as it demonstrates responsibility and commitment to their customers.

In my case, I ultimately made the decision not to proceed with another inspection. By that point, I had invested more than £650 throughout the process, following the recommendations and carrying out the advised repairs, without ultimately resolving the problem. I reached a point where I could no longer justify investing more money into the vehicle and decided to sell it.

I am also aware that DPF and AdBlue system faults can be complex and that identifying and resolving the underlying cause is not always straightforward. For that reason, I want to be fair in my review: I recognise the company’s professionalism, good communication, the documentation they provided and, particularly, their willingness to honour their warranty.

However, I also have to take the final outcome of my experience into account. Unfortunately, after investing more than £650 and following the recommendations I was given, including replacing the injector as advised to address the identified AdBlue issue, the DPF problem returned and ultimately remained unresolved.

For that reason, I believe 2 stars fairly reflects my experience: I recognise the company’s professionalism, integrity and commitment to their warranty, but unfortunately, in my particular case, I did not achieve the outcome I had hoped for.

I cannot praise this company enough, a quick excellent service that had my peugeot 2008 out of limp mode from a heavily blocked DPF and performing better than I can ever remember, all within less than 2 hours. The Engineer who attended, Adam, was an absolute star ⭐ well turned out, courteous, friendly and patient. He explained in detail everything he was doing in layman’s terms. All at, what I would say, a very fair price. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends family or in fact anyone who would listen.

Sy was very friendly and easy to talk to, he explained about what was wrong and what he was going to do to rectify the problem., took about an hour sorted 👍 would highly recommend this company. What a nice guy Sy is , a real asset to the company

Sy came out and did the DPF and Carbon clean on my car. Next day service with excellent results.

Chris was very helpful and polite, booked appointment day before with a very helpful lady.
A dpf clean was carried out by Chris in under 2 hours, he also tried to fix a fault with fuel filter but needed a new one.
Chris gave good solid advice in plain English, I was more than happy with service and would highly recommend.

My experience with Sy was amazing. I originally contacted him for a dpf clean and once he arrived he explained exactly what he was going to do to the car in order to get it up and running again. He helped me understand why my car was causing so much smoke and losing power and took his time with the job to make sure it was as clean as possible.

I recently had the car remapped (which actually made the car worse) and I probably wouldn’t be driving this car much longer if he didn’t mention it. He showed me on the computer why the previous remapping had caused problems with my car and fixed it in no time at all.

Overall, this is some of the best service I’ve received when it comes to mechanic's. He came on the day I called and even sorted the mapping out on what was meant to be his day off! Thanks again for all your help mate i appreciate it loads!

Engiclean came down for a DPF clean on my porsche and couldn't be happier with the experience. Sy was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, not only did he do a thorough, professional job on the DPF, but he took the time to actually explain what he was doing and why.

Sy clearly knows his stuff and has a real passion for what he does, which you don't always get in this industry.

The Porsche is running noticeably smoother and the difference in performance is clear. It's rare to find someone who combines real technical expertise with the willingness to actually educate their customers. Sy is one of those people.

Had a great service from start to finish with prompt emails to sort out problem on my daughters Jaguar .Billy arrived early and was quick to find issue with car and showed all the technical data to show issue and where it should be at after getting a dpf and carbon clean all the data was back at factory settings ,Billy was great at explaining details and car seems to back to normal with no faults on the dash would highly recommend to any one with dpf issues .

Excellent experience of customer service from start to finish. Had a very stubborn issue with the DPF in my Toyota Yaris and thought I was going to have to scrap my car. Frank came out and sorted the issue. Highly professional team and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant service from Chris. He came out to my home for a DPF clean and explained everything clearly before starting. I had a stubborn P2003 fault that wouldn’t clear, even after replacing the pressure sensor.

After the clean, the code is gone and the car is running much better with improved DPF pressure readings. Very professional and knowledgeable — highly recommend.

Technician,Billy, arrived at the arranged time and got to work straight away. He took a scan before carrying out any treatment and explained what the different scan parameters related to. My car had high ash, soot and anything else that could be high. During preparation we found an inoperative component, differential pressure switch.
This needed to be replaced however a couple of days before Christmas could have been a problem; not for Billy. A sensor was tracked down at TPS and Billy arranged to collect it, last one.

He consistently exceeded expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommending.

The car is back to its younger days, smooth idle, accelerating with an urgency long forgotten, completely rejuvenated.

Money I didn't need to spend before Christmas but what a difference.

I'd like to add there was no pressure to leave a review, this is unsolicited.

I would advise anyone thinking to get their dpf cleaned to have a serious think before going to this company. I am a pensioner with an old diesel car that had been well looked after but I thought It might benefit from a dpf clean, boy was that a mistake. I contacted and spoke to an Adam at engi clean who 100% reassured me there would be no danger to my old dpf in anyway as while old it was still working. He assured me several times that it was safe and should go ahead with the full clean with absolutely no risk, he even bragged about he was the only one that had a £10000 machine. Well after he finished his work and was paid £280, he informed me he had bad news for me and showed me a picture of his cleaning chemicals pouring out by dpf on his phone. I contacted engi clean within 24 hours as the car management lights were all flashing and the car was in limp mode. They subsequently ignored my calls and letters to them that I sent stating I had the car checked and informed their dpf cleaning had totally wrecked the cars dpf system. They only responded after I did a claim back with the credit card company who informed them, I was claiming back for. their ill-gotten gains, Engi clean stated they would fight like mad to keep their money despite destroying the car, however the credit card company refunded my fee to them so that tells a story, so at least I got my £280 back, but, in my opinion, this dreadful company will give you lip service to get your custom and while a useless clock can be right twice a day you don’t want to end up with my situation of needing to spend over a £1000 to get what they done in damage repaired, as it was confirmed by a main dealer this dpf had several years left ,if they hadn’t destroyed it.

Well where do I start.

Over the last 10 days I have experienced a whole lot of heart ache and wasting a few thousand pounds.

But if had thought that DPF issues with any car takes a skilled company like EngiClean that just concentrates on that one big issue at hand, and know the job inside out. I would have saved a fortune!!

But I was to late, don't let the same happen to you. Get the right company for the job. I will not say in this post the 2 companies I used but just let's say that I could have saved myself £1700 if I went to EngiClean 1st.

I will be taking the matter further with both the companies I used.

This company has 100% reviews and I can see why. Proper genuine and give you a no quibbles 29 day garentee if anything goes wrong. Which proves they know exactly what they are doing.

Wished I had of contacted them 1st.

But we all learn through our mistakes.

Just had engi clean out clean engine and dpf all faults cleared. Also had problem with mass flow controller wich was also fixed cost under 300 mazda price was 2200 just for engin clean.well happy thanks again no problem recommending them 👍

Absolutely brilliant service. Phoned and they came out that day. Full quote given which they stuck to. Frank talked me through everything he done and is the most at ease a mechanic has ever made me. Car now working with advice on what needs done to prevent it happening again. 5star service.

To be honest 5 star is not enough for this guy . I can easy say so far this guy is the best and he knows his job very well he explains everything perfect. He is very helpful and you can easy trust him I will definitely definitely recommend him to all the people out there
