After a long wait for permission from UK power networks SEC fitted my battery in a professional tidy manner even on a Sunday. Dan ( Head installer)also advised on my present solar issues which have now been rectified. Still waiting on the final installation paperwork but overall would recommend this company.
I received a warm welcome when I attended the Centre some months ago. The subsequent installation/upgrade of my Solar and Battery system took its time but was handled very professionally and efficiently with excellent communication between the various suppliers. I am very pleased with my upgraded system

Solar panel installation team was good. The people at the head office (MD + Surveyor) were not nice to deal with when issues arose and tried to significantly overcharge us, the only way to resolve it was escalation to a third party. Would avoid this company in future.
(This is *not* a fake review but I am not surprised by the attempts to discredit it given my experiences with this company. My other reviews are not about local businesses and they are also not negative)

Kenneth was communicative from start to finish — from the moment we walked into the Energy Centre to the final completion of the installation. The installation team were professional, thorough, and completed our solar and battery system within a day, and our air source heat pump within four days. Surrey Energy Centre (SEC) fit a new battery to connect with our existing solar system. It was slightly tricky because they also had to contend with an unresponsive battery manufacturer but SEC and Kenneth were on point. Super fast, efficient and with great communication throughout. The job was tidy and the price was right.

Overall we had a great experience with SEC. From first contact to completion all staff were knowledgeable, professional and efficient. The information provided was detailed and allowed us to make an informed decision. The installation was carried out quickly and the installers were polite, tidy and kept to schedule.
The only issue related to the 8 solar panels installed on our flat roof. We had anticipated being able to move them, easily, when the time came to have the flat roof recovered but this is not the case. Because all eight panels are on one frame and there is no access to the ballast we will need professional help to dismantle and reassemble them when the roof needs recovering (6 - 10 years).
This problem was not identified because of a miscommunication during the initial tendering stage.

We would like to clarify the point regarding the flat-roof solar array. The system is not fixed through the roof covering and uses a non-penetrative, ballasted mounting system. Although the panels sit on a shared frame, the array can be moved in two sections when required, and no dismantling of the roof or permanent removal of the system is necessary when the roof is replaced in the future.

We needed our solar panel system and the inverter to be reconfigured. This is on a residential estate. The appointment was arranged efficiently and the engineers attended and carried out the work. They reported to me on-site and then in a written report. Our problem had been caused by pigeons on the roof, and so I was also given advice on remedial work. All in all, the service was excellent from start to finish.
