The clothes are cute the quality is great but I’m giving them 4 stars because I had an issue with my order that needed to be resolved and they never got back to me.

Accidentally sent wrong item within an hour i was replied to and my package was shipped straight away. Couldn’t be nicer they’re customer service is absolutely amazing you wouldn’t find a brand that cares as much about their customers anywhere else!!

I bought the albufeira jeans and top, the jeans are amazing however the straps on the top are very flimsy and one has already broken off despite me only wearing it 2 times for no longer than 5 minutes in total :(

I LOOOVEEE my order, I ordered the ‘Unlock your mind’ playsuit and I couldn’t be happier with everything!
The order came in less than 2 days of ordering - I had only paid for standard delivery - and the quality is amazing! It suits my body and I love it so much!! Can’t wait for festival season to show it all off, I have 0 complaints. I love Elsie and Fred!!!

Terrible disappointment
My niece adores 70's clothing. The products look gorgeous. But this is where the love affair with them ends. I bought the clothes as a surprise gift to attend an Abba Tribute Night and Disco. Some of the clothes in question fell apart because of flimsy stitching. Those that were washed, fell apart and seemed to fade quite considerably. I believe all care/wash instructions were followed. A huge disappointment.

Happy customer
Bought two dresses and had to return one due to buying it a size bigger in the sale when my size was sold out (and, unsurprisingly, it being too big). The dresses were both so beautiful and I can't wait to wear the one I kept! Both were true to size. The dress I returned was refunded really quickly and I was impressed with the return service. Overall very happy and I would happily shop with Elsie & Fred again!

Terrible product.
I got the Marla coat and it was so cheaply made. It looks great but not well done. I’m usually an XS and the coat is super tight around the arm area. I am quite small and always fit XS so there something wrong with the product for sure. Huge disappointment because it’s useless now and can only hope to resell it to get my money back. On top of that customer service sucks and never answers emails. So I can’t even exchange it. Their shipping is $20 and comes late which is annoying because I needed it for an event. When I kept asking they stopped responding to me. I should have known better than to buy from a cheap fast fashion brand. The prices are a jokeeee, I hate Shein and they have better quality. Overall I don’t recommend them and would not purchase from them again. Great idea, very poor execution. You know it’s bad if I have to find a way to review them because the experience was so bad and costly.

In regards to our sizing, all body shapes are different so we aren’t going to nail it every time, I do appreciate that.
The Marla jacket is made to be quite fitted so we do recommend sizing up if that is your preference. I can’t comment on sheins quality but they have copied us several times, but as is life. We are certainly not a cheap fast fashion brand that is for sure and can check all of our processes and manufacturing methods on our website.

Expected more
I bought the Marla satin jacket and I was so disappointed, looked so great on the website but in reality looks really cheap, fur was attached with few buttons so it wasn’t steady and you could see the buttons if you move a bit, the arms were too long and shape just didn’t look right, I also was expecting the fabric to be a bit more firm, I know is a satin kind of material but it just makes it look like a cheap costume so I bet you can find a similar or same quality in a website like SHEIN or so for less money, only good thing was that the return was pretty straightforward and quick, very pleased with that.

Recommend!!! I was worried at first as it was a bit pricey for me but let me tell you it’s worth it. The customer service is brilliant, it was quick and they are so lovely. Fast delivery. The item is so gorgeous, great material and it’s definitely worth treating yourself. Thank you! :)
