Hi,

I fear there may have been some confusion here and that this review may have been placed on the wrong Trustpilot page. We are a UK-based female health and wellness supplement brand and do not sell, distribute, or ship products through Temu or any similar marketplace platform.

All of our products are supplied exclusively through our own website and shipped directly from our UK and EU distribution centres.

I have requested your email address privately so I can verify whether you are indeed a customer of ours and, if so, I would genuinely welcome the opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter for you.

However, in complete sincerity, I do believe you may have us mixed up with another company, as we absolutely do not operate through Temu in any capacity.

Ik vrees dat hier mogelijk sprake is van verwarring en dat deze review wellicht op de verkeerde Trustpilot-pagina is geplaatst. Wij zijn een in het Verenigd Koninkrijk gevestigd vrouwelijk gezondheids- en wellnesssupplementenmerk en verkopen, distribueren of verzenden onze producten niet via Temu of vergelijkbare marktplaatsplatformen.

Al onze producten worden uitsluitend via onze eigen website verkocht en rechtstreeks verzonden vanuit onze distributiecentra in het VK en de EU.

Ik heb privé om uw e-mailadres gevraagd zodat ik kan controleren of u daadwerkelijk klant bij ons bent. Mocht dat zo zijn, dan kijk ik uiteraard graag met u mee om het probleem op te lossen.

Maar in alle oprechtheid denk ik dat u ons mogelijk verwart met een ander bedrijf, aangezien wij absoluut op geen enkele manier via Temu opereren.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such honest feedback — I genuinely do appreciate it.

Packaging is a personal thing, and I know our ampoules won’t be everyone’s cup of tea… but they absolutely should be.

I want to reassure you that nothing we do is about being flashy or gimmicky. The packaging actually plays a really important role in protecting the collagen formula inside. It’s about efficacy.

Because our collagen is liposomal, it’s far more sensitive to light, air and contamination than standard powders or liquids. Our unicadose ampoules are actually a UK-first technology in this category, designed to keep every daily serving fresh, stable and effective without needing loads of unnecessary preservatives.

I’d also gently mention that you only started taking the collagen on May 8th, so you’re still very early into your journey with it. Collagen works cumulatively and consistently over time, and many of our customers notice the bigger benefits after several weeks of daily use. I’m really hopeful that the results you experience will outweigh the initial concerns around the packaging itself.

Sustainability is also something we care deeply. All of our packaging is fully recyclable, and we’re constantly reviewing more environmentally conscious options as technology evolves.

Interestingly, sachets and pouches -although they can appear more eco-friendly, are actually often much worse for the environment because they’re made from mixed materials that can’t usually be recycled through normal UK recycling streams. A lot of biodegradable pouches also only break down under very specific industrial conditions, so many still end up in landfill. Our packaging was chosen to balance recyclability, product protection and preserving the effectiveness of the formula.

I completely hear you regarding travel convenience and getting every last drop out that’s why we have the travel pouch and if you leave the collagen to get to room temp you will see the consistency alter so each drop just slides out the ampoule!

I took a look to see if you had been in touch with us but can’t find any communications prior to this review so hopefully this helps :)

You’re just heading into your third month with us, and we usually recommend allowing a full 90 days for the ingredients to properly build up in your system and for the benefits to become noticeable. For things like joint stiffness and discomfort in particular, it can take a little longer as the body gradually responds.

I’d genuinely love for you to get in touch so we can look at ways to optimise your experience, check everything is being taken in the most effective way, and offer any additional guidance that might help. It would be interesting to hear of your lifestyle and what other supplements and medications if any you take - perhaps there are some tweaks to be made to ensure better absorption.

I completely understand how disappointing it can feel when you were hoping for quicker results, and I’d love for you to continue a little longer if you’re able, just to give your body the full chance to respond.

Hi Aimee! Thank you so much for sharing this, despite stopping taking the golden pill. we’re Lovely to hear you noticed the glow and had people commenting!

As mentioned in my recent email Im sorry to hear about the headaches, that’s obviously not the experience we want for you. Just to reassure you, there isn’t anything within the formulation that’s known to directly induce headaches. Sometimes it can be linked more to how and when the supplement is taken for example, taking it on an empty stomach, hydration levels, or even sensitivity to certain nutrients at higher doses.

Stopping the supplement early will of course pause any ongoing benefits which may be why you saw some initial positives but didn’t get the chance to see the full effect over time.

If you do decide to try again in future, it could be worth:

Taking it with food
Ensuring good hydration
Or even starting on a slightly reduced intake and building up gradually if you feel you may be a bit sensitive

We do appreciate feedback of any nature, but I wont deny this stung a little, especially as you hadnt reached out to us directly? I am however really glad the experience and service have felt good at least as we pride ourselves on that.

That said, I do just want to add a bit of context here, as it’s quite important, I did a dive for your account and saw you’re still within your first month, so it’s very early days. With Elle Sera, we’re always really transparent that our supplements aren’t designed as a quick fix or overnight change.

Our formulations are built to work with your body over time. That’s why across our site and guidance we consistently recommend giving it at least 8–12 weeks of consistent use before properly judging results.

It’s a bit like expecting the gym to work after a couple of sessions, you might feel good straight away, but the real changes come with consistency over time.

We completely understand it can feel slow at the start, but that’s very much the nature of this kind of support, it’s gradual, steady, and designed to last rather than give a short-term spike.

Of course, everyone’s body is different, and we’re always here to support you along the way which is why I went looking to see if you had reached out to us - I also called you just now to have a chat as to ways to optimise your supplement routine as you're due your second subscription.
