Six months ago I knew nothing about care annuities. Then, in September we found ourselves wanting to support our mother to continue to live in her own home with live-in care, but seeing that funds were going to run out. The usual options wouldn't work.
I was recommended to Eldercare and, through guidance from Nicky Cave, together with support from Tracey and Roger, we've reached our goal.
Each member of the team was reassuring, efficient and quick to respond. Equity release and a care annuity seemed to be the answer, but, as you cannot predict the future, decision making was difficult and Nicky was so patient and generous with her time in this process.
Life is still not straightforward, but the financial pressure has been removed and we were very well supported and guided in achieving this.
