Absolute Joke off a company , so this is the organization that so call governs our industry . You can’t even reach them too sort things out they just take your money and run . This would be illegal or fraud if a person tried setting up what these do ! Or should I say don’t do !!

Absolutely awful. Scandalous organisation...Took my £100+ and can't log in...staff are useless. Even emailed top man Jay Parmer, to email address on the website only for that to be bounced back to me saying it can't be delivered, then have the audacity to say there's a "shortage" of electricians. I'm not surprised...tried to get help on X (Twitter), despite being told the site is monitored, no reply to my DM or my post even being acknowledged. The JIB/ECS are not fit for purpose. If it was a horse it would have been shot a long time ago...The government needs to look into this scam site. I was once proud to be a part of the JIB, not any more...

Cant even login to take it. Tried MacBook and Chromebook with all blockers off and still no good. Have been trying for weeks now.

Terrible website, Error 404 on MyECS
£56 for online tick box exam took 11 mins
now I've got to do another £56 online tick box exam.
If I manage to pass this its £45 + VAT for the card.
Every 3 years
Just to walk on site!

Disgusting service….i sat my test and passed in January and I’m still waiting for my card!!! I’ve paid twice as they told me they had sent it out twice and wouldn’t do it anymore without another payment. I still haven’t got it, now been out of work 6 months waiting for this card. The system stinks!!! 🤬🤬🤬

I wish I'd read the reviews....paid the money, can't even get to question 1 this is total rubbish.....have emailed them.....no reply

Absolute joke! They failed me on the online test because I "Glanced away from the screen a couple of times" So now they are demanding I pay another £50 odd pound to take the test again! What a complete Racket! - I will be reporting to the ombudsmen this is a complete joke!

The online test is completely rubbish and when you call them to find out why they tell you to go to a test centre because of all the problems so don't trust the on line test its a waste of time

50 questions in 30 mins turned into 50 questions in 18 minutes due to the time it takes to load the next question. Utterly scandalous way of doing things, expectations of doing the exam and not having adequate time to complete it. Now as i have done twice test and failed when i have read the course three times and achieved fifty out off fifty in moc tests this needs to be sorted times are hard every one is struggling for momey and it should be a money making Maschine rather training institution i have to say with very regret even giving one star

Update: I managed to sit exam when I got home this evening (I didn't get a page 404 error this time). Only to have a similar experience of the site freezing mid exam and the timer keeps ticking! I had 10 questions left with 15 mins to go and by the time I managed to get it going again (different error message about proctoring service on accessable) I had 3 minutes left. I've emailed ECS to get answers because for a nationally rolled out scheme this really is unacceptably poor.

Wish I'd read the reviews before paying and signing up for the H & S online assessment. Tried numerous times and it only takes me through some initial personal questions and won't load onto next page. It's not the computer as it's a Mac and internet connection is strong. There's no email or direct customer service contact only a number to call midweek which I'll have to try but the whole point of doing online is "you can do it any time anywhere" so they say.

They want me to re-take a training course 2 years early, which should be valid for 5 years, just because their own H&S exam had to be renewed at 3 years, what has that got to do with it?

They also don't spend any time to validate the documents they are sent and will want the same documents to be resubmitted again and again.

The website is very clunky and glitchy.

The only thing they're good at is taking your money...

Just spent all afternoon trying to log onto the Health and Safety test, to no avail. Useless! Wish I had gone to a test centre. Luckily I am retiring in a couple of years…….but if I cannot renew my card it may be much sooner…what a disgrace and complete rip off!

After week of stress and multiple tries to start a test.
Tens of minutes spent on a phone to contact support team.
Finally got it! Just to find out that test came to the end with non of the questions answered.

Sums up this day and age why the most simplest of things are made so overly complicated by layers of complete Burkes that have no knowledge of the industry they are in and who’s backsides are the same shape as their office chair. Every time we renew a card for our staff, who are all industry trained and experienced we are told we need to sit more exams, all off which are at a cost and time off work. Ironically when we get onto a site no one looks at our cards they are photocopied and we sign to say we have completed an induction. A recent application the employee has 41 years experience, 4 years apprentice trained, City & Guilds qualified, Director of a company and is told that is all irrelevant and you need to take an exam.

The ECS Card Scheme resembles a remake of Monty Python, and at another cost to small businesses.

No wonder there is a severe shortage of labour across most trades with these clowns running the show.

Appalling website - error after error - Only once I managed about 5 of the H+S questions before it timed out again - absolute waste of time.
Timed out again saying "contact our support" First thing on the contact page - "Due to a high volume of calls it may be quicker to read through the FAQ's" - Marvellous

Paid for my health & safety test and the portal for the exam is down!
