We entered into an energy contract through EcoSave after being repeatedly told that signing early would secure us a cheaper rate and protect us from future energy price increases.

The contract wasn’t due to start until October 2026, yet before it had even begun, we were informed that the agreed rates were increasing significantly.

Had we known that the prices could be increased before the contract commencement date, we would never have agreed to sign early.

When we raised concerns, we were passed between the broker and supplier, with each party directing us back to the other rather than providing a solution.

We also requested the sales call recording because the issue relates to what was said during the sales process. Instead of receiving the original sales call, we were provided with approximately two minutes of what appears to be a post-sale verification call conducted after the agreement had already been made.

The actual sales conversation — where we say we were told this would be a cheaper contract and protect us from future price rises — has not been provided despite our requests.

Our experience has been frustrating and disappointing, particularly given the lack of clear answers and meaningful engagement with our concerns.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise other businesses to ensure they fully understand whether rates can change before a contract starts and to obtain all promises and representations in writing before agreeing to anything.

It seems a good deal and ecosave have promised to keep us on lowest possible payments in new contract…

Saving money is always a good experience, especially when energy companies are making large profits, however, I was cold called and I'm always suspicious when cold called and felt a little pressured into doing everything immediately.
Would have felt more comfortable with an email and maybe set a day and time for the call.

None stop spam calls for days on end

Brendan Manus pretended he had had a converasation with one of our team.
What he didnt realise was that the person ho was claiming to have spoken to earlier that day hasnt worked here for months. Presumably he had their name off a mailing list or an old contact.
Then sent an email claiming to offer " the most suitable energy quotes, carefully sourced" when all he was actually offering was one supplier - and not the best deal !
On top of all of that they had obviously got the date by looking at when the previous supplier took control of the account and were trying to convince us with lines like "these exclusive rates may expire" and "we reccomend securing rates promptly" when in reality our supply was in contract for another 2 years.
Just chancers trying to pretend they are on your side !!

Quick and efficient I'll just let you know I may be giving up as store manager but the contract will remain as is for the three years.

I'll let you know at the time but I'm having issues with my eyes. Macular degenation going on.

So I'll run it by my secretary and see if they can carry on with it. I can't see a contract now. But know you wouldn't rip us off. There is a further tax criteria you can use for us as we're essentially a club.
Excempt from tax as we only earn back what we spent on buying goods and plants etc and what we have to pay council tax water electric and maintenance which we try to do as much of in house to make it even cheaper for our members.

So if you can do me a deal for our Cold Water supply I'd be greatful. At present using castle water whom.Im fed up with as they keep changing our passwords etc.

The staff that I spoke too were very helpful

Awful experience with this company, who mis-led and mis-sold a product after much harassment. My colleague signed up without checking with myself and despite following up less than half an hour later, EcoSave Pay are refusing to cancel an extortionately high agreement.
Steer well clear!

Finn was exceptionally professional and pleasant to deal with. He assisted me in record time and provided clear, concise information. It is exceptional customer service!
