Amazing company! My son who has a learning disability used ECL’s Inclusive Employment Service. He had been out of work for 3 years and lost all confidence and self esteem due to discrimination in his previous employment. ECL’s Inclusive Employment Service support has been outstanding offering my son support from looking for work, supporting him in the interview and supporting him in the workplace by providing him with a support worker when he was successful in securing a job. Even after a person has settled in their new job ECL will always be available for the person to contact if any issues were to arise. I Wished ECL’s Inclusive Employment service had been around 18 years ago at the beginning of my son’s journey into the world of employment I’m sure he would have had a much happier and fairer time.

It was a great experience in received from ECL and they helped me get the job I always wanted ! It is difficult because i was looking for an independent job role as I only like working alone and the team at ecl manged to get me a permanent job at basildon Mayflowar reteil park and now know I'm feel I am starting to fit back into regular society again.

My mother started attending the ECL in Loughton a couple of months ago. She was welcomed by the whole team straight away and made to feel at home. When I drop Mum off she lights up as she recognises the centre. The team always greet her with smiles and are so enthusiastic and cheerful, that it makes Mum feel special and part of the family. She often dances her way into the centre. When I go to pick Mum up, it takes quite some time to get her to the car as she is so busy laughing and giggling with the team. She loves it and I would recommend the centre to everyone. They have action packed days filled with activities. Oliver and his crew are simply the best.

ECL Inclusive Employment have been very helpful and supportive in helping me achieve a paid job role. Without the support from my consultant Chloe who helped me secure my first paid job role and also my job coach Darcie who has provided support to help me learn my role and become more independent. The job coaches are patient and understand with me. The staff and manger at ECL Basildon are kind and friendly to me as well.

ECL have supported our daughter in obtaining and carrying out a work placement, Linda and Jo always have her in mind, accommodating her disability and support her well.
Never in years they have been supporting her have they let her down and always on time.

I had a miraculous time doing this supported internship meeting the job coaches and new members of Ecl.I learned new values and skills during this new process of my life at Amazon.

ECL change my life completely they helped through the whole time at Amazon I’m really grateful to my job coaches I had this year.

From the first taster day my Mother was made to feel welcome and valued. My mother attends twice a week and has such a good time she talks about nothing else for the next 3-4 days! Her needs are more complex than most but she is supported, her dignity maintained and she feels she can trust the staff 100% with her care needs. The setting is beautiful for the people attending the day centre and they always have a hot meal and plenty to eat and drink throughout the day. Communication from the team there is amazing and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I wish to say how great Richard has been in all aspects of finding my son a job
Richard has given my son a major boost in his confidence and arranged interviews and coached him in preparation and taken him to and from interviews introduced him to the job club
Richard has a magnificent can do attitude and empathy and understanding and puts you at ease Richard has also followed up how its going out of hours i can say Richard is outstanding professional and we thank him

What made our experience great is quite simply the fantastic support and guidance from my daughter's job consultant. Jennie Dukelow. She has been excellent in sourcing suitable jobs and imparting valuable interview techniques and supporting at job interviews. The Service has also provided job coaching meetings and these have been excellent at building skills required for job searches and role playing for job interviews. My daughter has communication anxieties, however Jennie has built a very good profession relationship with Alcina and rapport, which has lead my daughter to trust Jennie which has been a fantastic asset in supporting her on her job search journey. We simply could not have done thus alone without the support of ECL and Jennie. It is a valuable and essential service for people with learning difficulties to find employment.

The carers are amazing, they really treat the customer as an individual person, respecting their dignity at all times. Friendly and kind, couldn’t ask for more.

My experience with ECL has been excellent and provided myself all the information required when needed.I have also secured employment which has improved my Mental Health after being out of work 4 years.I would recommend ECL for anybody who has Autism or other special needs.

Staff are amazing

Wonderful welcome from staff members upon arrival. The atmosphere is just lovely and the attention to detail to the environment is exceptional. Users of the service are settled, content and happy. It is clear that this service goes out of it's way to ensure the enjoyment of the people who use it.

Really professional and engaged team who want the best for the candidates and the businesses they are working in. Were always available and nothing was too much of a problem and mostly, they care about their job and the people they represent and support.
