This is an excellent program. Great instruction and wonderful live events in Zoom. Worth the money for a lifetime membership.

At first I was on a free live workshop (zoom) with eBassGuitar. A workshop telling about binding theory to activity on the fretboard. Then I looked at some videos on YouTube.
And after a while I decided to bye a LIFETIME membership.
And now, 2 months into the webside, I can tell :

The teaching is real world and applicable. James explains it in very simple terms and it leaves the student with enough knowledge and confidence to dive in.

I've reached a point in my bass guitar learning where I'm just practising modes and scales. I'm a bit frustrated with YouTube, to be honest. Not with Youtube itself, but with my lack of guidance and not knowing what to do. Ebass Guitar Lessons has changed all that. It's been incredibly helpful. If you want to learn bass guitar in a structured, friendly way, this is the place.

I am new to the bass guitar which means everything is new to me. This course gives me the information that I need to start with and extra information I will need a little later.

James is the best instructor you could ever ask for. The man knows his stuff and has tons of real world experience. In addition, he has a special knack for teaching bass guitar.

I live 100km from the closest town so the internet lessons are handy.

I love BLP. I have been a BLP member about 4 years now, have done many, many courses, have 3 CD’s and 4 wire-bound manuals. James does a great job on his instructional lessons and his tips and suggestions are well needed. I am 78 years and have been playing bass since 1965 in college and intermittently since. Now that I am retired I have more time to study and practice and enjoy my music and listen to James and watch how his eyebrows have grown over the years. I have been following James for quite some time. I play in an original power trio so learning covers is difficult for me. Writing comes easy. I was stumped on a couple and so I came to James and he was giving a lesson on one of the tunes so I joined and got all I needed for the next night. The show was a great success. Thanks James.

I will make this simple. Pay the $30.00 or so. You will be a better bassist when you are through. And this is going from someone who has years of playing live experience.

Progressive easy to follow lessons, supportive community of fellow students from all over the world, great committed instructors and a literally bottomless collection of tips, tricks and "stuff". I've been a member for over two years and this is my go to place for anything bass.

James & his tutors are great at what they do. The lessons are well paced & easy to follow and the content is relevant and clearly explained.
Any emails are answered promptly and when I stopped my subscription for a while there was absolutely no problem canceling it.
I would have no hesitation recommending eBass to anyone starting out of wanting to get a deeper understanding of bass playing.

Ive been learning from James and eBassGuitar through YouTube,books and courses for a while now and what I like about them is... the lessons are broken down into chunks thats so easy to undertand AND to apply directly into my playing. There are tons of great bassists out there but only a few is a good teacher and James is certainly one of those. And im blessed to find him in YouTube. My overall technique was improved AND also my understanding of theory is now rock solid. Kudos to James and Team EBG
