A Sad and Difficult Occasion made easier
The staff were lovely and very helpful. Always ready to answer any questions. They made us feel that each and every funeral held there was important. The rural setting was beautiful and conveyed a sense of calm. The service hall was modern and the webcast facility was brilliant, allowing those that were unable to attend to watch the service live. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting and easy to find…
Lovely setting and easy to find off of the A30 which is always a bonus in difficult times. We rang ahead to see if we could bring our dog to the service which was agreed. The whole crematorium experience has been well thought out with sheltered waiting areas for gathering family members if it is raining, and even to the point where there were tissues available for the family in the front row. Thank you

Very pleasant venue and grounds
My Father’s cremation took place at East Devon Crematorium. The venue was nice and modern, clean and had lovely natural light coming in. The facilities were good especially having the photos showing on screens during the service. Staff were sensitive to the circumstances. The grounds are spacious and set in lovely countryside. All was good considering the sad circumstances.

Feedback chasing is inappropriate
Unfortunately this survey is rather tack less and wholly inappropriate. EDDC should not be asking, via this platform people's feedback in this manner. To request feedback both within a few weeks of the funeral and to then send within a week a memorial purchase plan suggests an aggressive and commercial mindset which is in stark contrast to the solemnity of the funeral.

An inspiring experience with family and friends
It was my first experience of being the one grieving and it was a very good experience under the circumstances.
Lead by a very kind funeral director and staff at the crematorium. It was a terrible day weather wise, poured with rain all the time on the way there, during and after at the Wake.
A celebration of my dear partners life spoken by the vicar compiled by her brother in law.
For me it went very well and allowed me the time to say goodby. Something I could not do at her passing.

Having recently lost a love one, I cannot fault the service we received. Everything was perfect in every way. All our requests were met and we were treated with the upmost professionalism at all times. I have no doubts when highly recommending this service to everyone.

This establishment had a wonderful calm…funeral for my mother
This establishment had a wonderful calm and piece about it. There was no rushing, we had a beautiful service for mum and when it all felt too much i could look outside listen to the birds and watch the sun over the grounds.

Faultless and invisible
I can't fault it. We saw no-one from the crem but someone must have been there, working invisibly. The audio-visual stuff worked perfectly - music, and a visual tribute with music. It's the stuff that you think might not work quite how you want it to. It did.

The "chapel"was inviting and warm
