The overwhelming feeling of a…
The overwhelming feeling of a production line of funerals was evident from the moment we arrived.
The presence of two other sets of flowers (presumably the two previous funerals in the gathering area after the service exacerbated this sense. This was particularly distressing for my mother while she / was already dealing with the loss of her husband after 63 years. People are especially vulnerable and sensitive at these times and seemingly little things can have disproportionate impacts.
We deliberately opted for a brief service and were aware of the times allocated between funerals when we went through the booking process.
I would suggest that there is a holding area created out of sight for flowers and tributes left for the previous funerals.
Given you are dealing with essentially a captive market that doesn't feel like it has any choice, I can understand why details like this get overlooked.

Thank you for your review, it is important for us to receive feedback from our clients to understand how we can make future improvements.
I am sorry for any distress that may have been caused when leaving the service hall, our flower court yard is our designated area for any flowers left following a service due to it being undercover and more secluded. We ensure any flowers left are removed within a timely manner to allow clients time to come and collect these at a later date.
We will take onboard your comments to review the future possibility of these being relocated when any future work is carried out to improve the site. In the mean time please be assured we will accommodate any special requests in the future if made to relocate flowers to avoid any further upset.

A beautiful venue. The sun came out during the Service and shone through a window. The staff were professional, respectful and dignified. They communicated well with the Funeral Director and the Celebrant. Attention to detail was paramount, for example, they checked that the Visual Tribute was functional prior to the Service.
