My son and I recently returned August 15 2018 from a trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg
Arranged by east west tours and
It was a fantastic experience. We Do not know Russian but English was spoken at all the hotels and restaurants. The tour guides and Drivers were very informative and punctual.
The country was beautiful from red square museums
To the castles in St. Petersburg
The 4 seasons hotel in both locations had superior service
Ausra And alex of east west were extremely helpful with the visa process and selecting itinerary and I highly recommend them and experiencing the Russian experience

From the greeting at the Moscow Airport by our tour guide, Marina, to the last good-bye from Elena at the St. Petersburg airport, all went extremely well. Our only hiccup was not knowing who was taking us to Suzdal but that was easily resolved. Every entry to museums, palaces and venues was eased by the knowledgeable guides. Our extra tour to Kizhi Island was amazing and the guest house was perfect as our room overlooked the lake.

Food in any of the restaurants or personal homes was plentiful and delicious.

Hotels were indeed 5 star. Had we known we could request a view room on a high floor, we would have done that and will remember to ask in the future.

All drivers were polite and took care to be safe, yet efficient in time travel.

Since this was our first experience with your firm and private tours, we both feel fortunate we were able to go with a first-rate company.

Loved our tour -- hotels were centrally located and tour guides were informative & experienced. Saw so much of the Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania. So glad that we booked this tour with East West Tours. If you wish to see the real Baltic countries, you must book the longer 15 day tours -- spending just one or two days in the capitals are not sufficient. We even added more days to explore on our own. OVERALL FANTASTIC TOUR!!

We took their St. Petersburg visa free cruise from Stockholm through Helsinki to St. Petersburg. We were impressed with the cruise line (great food) and the tour of St. Petersburg was first rate. We had a small group tour and Maria (Masha) was an incredibly knowledgable guide. She grew up in St. Petersburg and had many insights into the city and it's history. We were able to visit Pushkin, Catherine's Palace and Petershof as well as many historic sites in the city. St. Petersburg is a beautiful city and everyone should see it.

We three aging ladies were delighted with our "visa free" trip to St. Petersburg as arranged by East-West tours. Thank you, Alex. We had a gorgeous sunny day in Helsinki before getting on the Princess Maria ferry that afternoon. Being shipboard was fun, room and beds comfortable, nice food and a lovely smooth trip to St. Petersburg. Maria met us and we immediately felt welcomed and comfortable in the hands of a true professional. The hotel was luxurious and convenient. Loved the breakfast. Maria managed our tours with efficiency, never forgetting our "personal" requirements, but ensuring we saw and learned as much as possible in our limited time. We would have been lost without her trying to cope with the crowds on our own. She is a treasure and we were delighted to get to know her. We did some exploring and wandering on our own in the evenings and felt quite safe in that extraordinary city. Thank you for making this terrific excursion possible.

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our St. Petersburg tour.
Everything about it was really excellent, particularly Masha, our tour
guide. She was always in good spirits, intelligent, helpful, and
exceptionally well informed. We both thought she was a particular asset to
represent your company because she had so many admirable qualities and was so nice to be around. The bus driver was also a very safe and cautious
driver. We could never have done this on our own in the amount of time we
had there. The logistics for getting us into various museums, palaces and
so on must have been hair raising since the city was so crowded with
tourists. Our hotel was really nice and we actually ate there a couple of
nights because we were too exhausted to go out. The food was very good, the hotel was extremely comfortable, and the location was great.

We did get a 3 year Russian visa because we're interested in taking the
Trans-Siberian rail trip from Moscow to Beijing next year. I'll explore
the options for that a bit later.

Thanks again for the experience. We are still enjoying reliving our trip
there.

I contacted East West Tours to discuss tour options to Stockholm and neighboring countries. Bobby (Rajiv Sawhney) from East West contacted me immediately and was very helpful in planning my trip to include all the places and sights my husband and I wanted to visit. He arranged all the details of our ferry to Tallinn, Estonia; on overnight in St. Petersburg, Russia; ferry to Helsinki, Finland; and ferry back to Stockholm. All the costs were clearly outlined. He provided recommendations regarding tours. Every part of our trip was amazing. We had no problems during any of our stops. Our private guide and driver in St. Petersberg were so professional and knowledgeable. Our hotel, The W, in St. Petersberg could not have been nicer. I highly recommend East West and Bobby and will definitely use them again.

We traveled in small groups with our knowledgeable guide, Margarita, leading us every step of the way. She never hesitated to answer our questions, offer suggestions and directions on where to shop, eat and explore other interesting sites. Her stories and anecdotes often flavored with humor kept us alert on long distant rides across the beautiful countryside of the Baltic countries. We not only saw the historical highlights of each country, but we also had time to relax, attend concerts and meet many local people.
Our East-West travel specialist, Alex, was an expert travel agent, because we did not encounter any problems while traveling. Yes, we will travel with East-West Tours again.

We recently returned from a two week vacation to Russia and Lithuania that was arranged by East West Tours. Alex, who was our travel agent with East West Tours, did an excellent job of both helping us to create our trip, as well as ensuring that the implementation of it was quite successful. We did not encounter a single problem with our travel,hotels or tour guides.
Alex made recommendations of some places that we were not familiar with and included a few unusual sites that we requested. The tour guides we had, one each for Moscow, St. Petersburg and Vilnius , were all fantastic ( Masha in St. Petersburg and Iga in Vilnius were amazing tour guides). Each of the three guides were very knowledgeable about history and art and were open to answering all of our questions. They modified the day's activities for the very few times that we wanted to add a site or not spend as much time as originally planned with other sites. I would highly recommend Alex and the East West Tours.

Yes the trip was very successful! I can't wait to go back. The only negative for the trip was the wait for the overnight train. Our tours during the day ended around 5pm but the train wasn't till about 11pm. There wasn't much to do close by to the hotel so we had dinner and then just sat in the lobby of the hotel for a few hours. Would have been better if we had more activities to do/been told about things we could do in the evening perhaps.

Our guide in Moscow was Olga. She was extremely knowledgeable, but she walked really really slow! I felt like we might have been able to see a bit more if we walked faster haha Also at times we would walk along in silence because Olga felt like we wouldn't have been able to take in so much information. But I think I would have preferred to listen to a few facts as we walked around (especially since we walked so slow so had a lot of time).

We had Masha and another lady whose name I've forgotten in St Petetsburg who were both wonderful. We definitely felt as though Masha was going out of her way to make sure we experienced as much of St Petetsburg as possible. We appreciated that she suggested and offered to help us to buy tickets to extra activities we could do in the evenings like boat tours or shows. She also suggested a number of restaurants which we tried and were all very good!

The driver we had on the day we went out to Pushkin etc was really lovely. All of our car transfers went quite smoothly and made the travel aspect of the trip hassle free.

Thank you for an excellent experience. All went as planned, the guides (Nadia in Moscow, Masha in St Petersburg) , drivers, hotels and restaurants were excellent. The people we traveled with were a delight. We learned so much about your country, about each other. It was a most memorable experience. Working with East West Tours has been a time and cost saving experience.
