It allowed me to converse with waiters and hotel staff in both Portugal 🇵🇹 and Kefalonia.
I loved the chilled music that goes with each track.

Android app store reports for the "Earworms" app - "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android". Wish I had known this first.

The Play Store message actually prevents your device from purchasing our android app, the purchase you did make was MP3 format.
Perhaps you didn't receive our emails?
We responded to your support enquiry within 3 hours, explained the issue only effects some Android devices, it's being updated and if you wanted to start learning sooner you could order MP3 format instead and when the app is updated we'd provide you with complimentary codes to restore in our App, at no extra cost.
When you did order, we returned another email, thanking you, confirming you'd be the first to know when the app is available to your device, that we'd contact you with gratis codes and we also sent you some additional resources, Spanish Grammar Tips and Spanish Memory Hooks.
Perhaps you purchased before you received our email, the offer still stands regardless. Please confirm if you'd like complimentary codes when the update is live. Our offer still stands.

J'aime cette méthode que j'ai déjà utilisée pour apprendre l'espagnol. Là j'ai acheté l'italien que j'ai appris il y a 40 ans et que j'aimerais à nouveau pratiquer. Cette méthode audio musicale est facile pour apprendre de façon ludique une langue. Je recommande Earworms.

We promote that the Earworms Method makes language learning a pleasure, not a chore. As you've found you can actually do chores while you're learning! I do my learning walking my dog, I tend to repeat out loud, the dog is now a polyglot. Only kidding, we're yet to break into the canine world 😂.
But seriously, you've hit on an excellent point, you don't have to stare at a screen or punch in responses, so you don't have to set aside extra time to learn a language with Earworms.

Listening and repeating earworms made me more familiar with the sounds and cadence's of French words and sentences. The syntax of the language is often what differentiates natve speakers. I found the experience to be quite useful and at the same time pleasant. Merci beaucoup.

You are absolutely correct, the Earworms basic approach is rhythmic repetition, which has been proven time and time again to be extremely effective. After listening several times, the French words and phrases are rhythmically burned into your long-term memory. More importantly, and like you've noticed you have the correct original pronunciation and intonation ringing in your ears, and it doesn’t take much to jog your memory.
All our speakers are natives, chosen for their voices. Our French speaker, Hélène is one of my personal favourites.

You're right, the 6-9 minute tracks enable you to listen and learn track by track, any time, anywhere.
The Earworms approach immerses the learner in real-life dialogues and expressions, they're broken down into bite-size chunks, then reconstructed into full sentences. It gives you a strong sense of how real language courses are constructed. This is called the lexical approach to language learning.
When these words and phrases are practiced rhythmically with music the 'earworms phenomenon' happens without you even releasing it.

Excellent App for newcomers
I use Earworms to learn Italian and Greek. The approach they use to teach basics of the languages is really working. The background music that is played with each lesson, helps first creating, then triggering memories about learnt expressions and words. Also listening to the lessons with the music makes the lessons more entertaining. I listen to it while walking or being engaged with other activities that do not require too much attention.
I had some problems with downloading some phrasebooks, which come as an addition to audio lessons. After contacting the company, they worked hard to solve the problem until a solution was found. This is why my rating is now changed from 4 to 5 stars. Thank you, Maria!

Thank you for the 4 stars, we're delighted you found success and enjoy our musical language learning app. You are now able to download the Italian and other languages phrasebooks from within the App and by the end of this year the App should work on a desktop too. A superb way to quickly learn a foreign language - at any age
My wife and I bought Portuguese (European) lessons one and two. They are excellent and really work. I am 64 years old, so don’t find learning as smooth as I used to but this works well. It’s amazing how quickly you can remember a new language. It’s very enjoyable and convenient, as it simply plays in the background. A super company and a first-class product.

We've since published Portuguese volume / level 3, it's only available in the Earworms App or from our own webstore, thought you'd like to know.
