Outstanding products and people!
Outstanding products. I started out in 2020 with the Eargo 5's to help with my mild to moderate hearing loss and tinnitus. Significantly improved my hearing and even reduced the tinnitus. I upgraded to the Eargo 7's, which have even more technology, in January 2024 and absolutely love them.
The Customer Service Department at Eargo is Fantastic! They have real people that really care. They go out of their way to answer questions, resolve issues or simply help you make adjustments or understand your hearing devices.
Great value compared to traditional hearing aids that may or may not work as well as Eargos! I have found them to be a first rate company with honest people who make a quality product. I highly recommend!

Excellent Hearing Aids!
I am extremely satisfied with my Eargo 7 hearing aids! I find them to be highly effective. It’s a relief to be able to hear people speaking without thinking that they’re mumbling, and outdoors, the sound of birds singing is delightful.
I have to say that I am a bit vain. I know that I have been suffering from hearing loss for several years now, but I have been stubborn, I didn’t want to get behind-the-ear hearing aids. Whenever I see someone wearing hearing aids, my first thought is, “that person is old, that’s not for me”. The beauty of my Eargo 7 hearing aids is that they are truly invisible. I don’t feel self-conscious using them. I put them in my ears first thing in the morning and leave them in all day. They’re comfortable and most of the time I even forget that they’re in my ears.
The Eargo company has provided excellent service. I have had a couple of questions regarding the best settings for different situations. Within a day, an audiologist has returned my call. The app on my phone is easy to use. I always carry my phone with me anyway, so if the need arises, I can easily change the settings.
In conclusion, my Eargo 7s are a great product. They are effective, and they have improved the quality of my life. I feel that they are well worth the cost, and I highly recommend them.

I've been wearing the Eargo 7's for about 2 months. I'm 63 and they are my first hearing aids. I had no idea how bad my hearing had gotten. I absolutely love the custom zones. In addition to the normal setting, I have mine set for "Restaurant, TV and Music." I was stunned when I used the 'Music' setting to listen to a very expensive stereo system. I felt the music took me back to what it sounded like in high school. Yeah, they are expensive, but they are worth every penny.
Eargo 7 is a great PSAP
My Eargo 7's are a remarkable piece of technology, very discreet and comfortable to wear, with good battery life and a well-designed charger/carrying case. Best of all they can be personalized with the "Sound Match" on the Eargo App for really good performance. The company staff were friendly and helpful.
I love my Eargo 7's
I love my Eargo 7's! I'm amazed that they help me to hear everyone at the table in a noisy restaurant, which is what frustrated me (and my family!) before I wore hearing aids. They are very comfortable, I can happily wear them all day when I need to. Battery lasts best part of a full day before needing a recharge.
I wish it was possible to replace the battery, because as it stands I'm looking at buying a replacement set in about 3 years' time, but all things considered these are a miracle for the price. My family didn't even know I was wearing them at first, they are almost invisible!

My new EARGO hearing aids are outstanding. The ability to make program and background noise adjustments as well as volume, makes the experience an exceptional one. I tried cheaper brands. It was a waste of time. Eargo is the should be the first choice.
High quality Product and Great Customer Service
The high quality of the product (Eargo 7) is matched by the great customer service at Eargo. I'm 1.5 months into my first-ever hearing aids and am very pleased with this company.

I just bought my second pair of Eargos, the newer model 7. Much improved from the original Neo model, controllable from your smartphone, better charger arrangement, easier to use. Great product!
Lack of support
Lack of support. Have an issue with my charger and Eargo does not want to assist in the matter. The rep said they could not help me at this time. They apparently do not stand by their product.

I've been using Eargos for almost 5 years. Recently upgraded to Eargo 7 and I couldn't be more pleased with the new features, product quality and my enhanced hearing. No one realizes that I wearing hearing aids.
Lack of ability to cure App problem
I very much liked Eargo 7 when I first bought them, despite having to have three right side earbuds replaced, without charge, since May last year.
Eargo have recently updated their app and since then, I am unable to use it. When I go to log in, I am told that I have the wrong password, despite trying several. When I attempted, (several times), to change my password, I keep on being told that they have emailed me another but it never arrives. When I called them, twice now, the ladies were very nice but unable to help.
It's been several days now that I can't use my eargos and I'm fed up of this non-treatment. I want to return my eargos, get my money back and look for another hearing aid.
Life changing for small ear canals
Life changing! I have been using my Eargo 7s for about 3 months and these hearing aids perform as advertised and my hearing professional is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful.
My previous hearing aids were over-the-ear by Starkey. Aside from the ridiculous price and the constant rustling because of my long hair, the sound clarity was awful, especially listening to music. Every time I saw my audiologist to adjust the hearing aids' sound matching, the hearing aids always sounded "tinny". I live with deafening tinnitus - multiple levels and sound types - all of the time, 24 hours a day. With the Eargo 7s, I can tailor my listening preferences, on the fly, based on how loud my tinnitus is.
Also, I have very small ear canals and tested other CIC hearing aids. They were useless. With other brands, I would put them in my ear canals and all I could hear was myself. The best way I can describe it is if you close your ears with your fingers and start talking. This does not happen with my Eargo devices. They did take a little getting used to but Lindsey, my hearing specialist, provided tricks and tips on multiple occasions to get them to where they were a comfortable fit. Within a week of using them, I was hooked! They are perfect!
The quality of sound, the ease of the app, and the fit, not to mention the price, are so far above and beyond the competition. Love my Eargo 7s.

My Dad
As we age so unfortunately so do our parents. My father was having trouble hearing. We even thought he was not processing correctly because of the hearing issue. The grandkids felt he was yelling at them. They often avoided talking to him. His great grandson loved him but ran when he spoke. I could see he was isolating himself. He was not having the same fun conversations with the family. I finally convinced him to go to Best Buy to purchase hearing aids. When he saw how small the device was, he agreed to try them. I did the hearing test with him that prove to him he needed them. He put them on and now only takes them off to recharge them. He can have conversations! I just spoke to him on the phone and he was able to speak to me and understand everything I said. Before he got the eargo... he had his phone so loud his neighbors could hear the speaker and he could not. I see it has even improved his driving made him more aware. His processing has improved because he now understands what we are saying. I wish he had purchased eargo years ago. What a BIG difference a small device CAN HAVE! It gave him back quality of life. I also have never dealt with a company that has such helpful support. It is a pleasure to speak with representatives who speak English and fully know their product.

Proceed w/ Caution- Still Work in Progress
This is the second charger that has failed. I followed all the instructions Eargo provides (minimal at best) for reconnecting including reinstalling the App. Now not only does the charger not connect but now I have no way of controlling the two Eargo 7s while in my ears.
I am on a two week business trip in Asia and typical no of Eargo they tell me to do all the things that I have already done as my sight is very good and I can read, it is the hearing that is the challenge. Hopefully, Eargo will work the bugs out of their technology and stop treating customers as if they are stupid. Until then, proceed with caution.

Great Hearing Aid
About 5 years ago, I decided to purchase the earlier version of the Eargo hearing aid. I did so for simple reasons for me. They are small and do not have the bulky appearance of an over-the-ear hearing aid. I was drawn to this solution because they were less expensive than “regular” hearing aids and virtually invisible in the ear. Ease of use, reliability, and price swayed me.
Over the following years, these original Eargos began to lose their ability to recharge rendering them unusable. For that reason and the legal changes for hearing aids prompted me to investigate multiple options for replacement. After many searches, I went back to Eargo and compared prices, looks, effectiveness, and whether friendly usable. I found Eargo to have the best option for me as a hearing aid that is inconspicuous in the ear, easy to put in/take out and powerful enough to compensate for my age-related hearing loss. I chose to purchase the Eargo 7 because of those factors as well as being able to make any necessary adjustments with my smart phone.
I am happy to enthusiastically recommend the Eargo option and especially the Eargo 7.

As good as those from an audiologist
I have been wearing hearing aids for 8 years and these are the first ones I like to wear daily. I have the Eargo 6 and they are a true hearing aid with adjustablility that rivals one from an audiologist at 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. Online & phone support saves trips to an office. They are comfortable and versatile to adapt to different environments.

Eargo 7 - 8 month use update.
I started using the Eargo 7 devices on May 4, 2023. As of now (1/12/24) I can say that the Eargo 7's have dramatically helped my hearing loss. My left ear was worse than my right, however with the Eargo, Smart Phone app, I was able to program each ear separately. I was also able to adjust volume and tone so I wasn't always getting that annoying feedback and squeal. After 8 months of use, I'm still convinced this was a solid choice for me.

The Eargo 7 is an amazing and virtually invisible hearing aid. I have used this product for over a year and am extremely satisfied. If you are experiencing hearing loss, I would highly recommend it. The return policy is very generous and you have no risk if things don't work out.
