WHY WOULD I REACGH OUT TO PHOENIX WHEN YOUR RETURN POLICY REQUIRES OVERSEAS SHIPMENT WHICH I PAID FOR?

I'm the senior optician here at E-optician. I took time to investigate this case and found:

1. You never approached us to express dissatisfaction and get our return authorization.

2. We did receive your email requesting refund back in Jan but no sign of return shipment tracking. I checked every single subsequent emails. I can't find tracking number you mentioined. If you do have them, please resend to cs@e-optician.com.

3. Until today, our Phoenix hub did not receive any "return shipment" from you.

I recommend that you contact your courier and clarify with them.

They do not honor their return policy

The glasses did not work for me. They do not honor their easy return policy. Its anything but easy. After months of emails and jumping through hoops they finally told me I would not be eligible for a full refund and only a partial refund after I ship the glasses back to Hong Kong. I basically waster $550. Do not order from this company expecting to be able to get a refund if the glasses do not work for you.

Absolutely appalling experience

Absolutely appalling experience. I ordered goggles costing over £200 and never received them. FedEx claims the package was “delivered,” yet it clearly was not — and now nobody wants to take responsibility.

I contacted the company I purchased from, and they immediately washed their hands of the problem and told me to contact FedEx. FedEx, of course, has been completely useless. Endless calls, no real help, no resolution, just finger-pointing and excuses.

So let me get this straight: I pay over £200, receive nothing, and I’m expected to chase two companies who both refuse to help? That’s not customer service — that’s a scam-like experience.

If you’re considering ordering from this company, don’t. If something goes wrong, you’re on your own. Lost money, wasted time, zero accountability. This is a joke. Get away fast.

I'm the senior optician here at E-optician. I've personally looked into this case for you. Your frustration is totally valid.

What really shocked me is the "proof of delivery" picture of your doorway, taken by the FedEx delivery staff, did not even show the parcel. I've our director of logistics personally called the FedEx hub general manager here (we are their premium customer here due to our volume) to complain about this ridiculous situation. We have also, on your behalf, complained about your local FedEx office being not helpful. They promised this will deserve an internal investigation and performance alert.

On our side, our customer service will approach you shortly to offer either immediate remake of your order or a total refund.

Once again, we are really sorry about this incident. This is absolutely the most bizzare case I've ever seen in my 40 years career.

Be careful about the promised lead time

The delivery time was misleading.
FedEx to blame- but they control the information on their website.
Christmas present arrived 4 days after Christmas, wife disappointed, but it got here in the end.

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. I'm the senior optician here at E-optician. I've just reviewed the order progress report as well as your communication with our customer service.

We started to produce your order on Dec 10 after a few days communication with you regarding fitting verification. The order was passed to FedEx on Dec 17 following our regular production time of 5-7 work days for prescription lenses. FedEx originally planned delivery on Dec 22 but delayed until Dec 29, which we complaint very seriously to their management who quoted normal holiday delays. Not acceptable but it's the fact. We fully understand your frustration.

I also saw your request for a discount or rebate to make it up, which I totally agree. In a separate email, our customer service team will email you a £50 store credit.

Once again, I'm sorry for this incovenience but please understand there are unforeseeable conditions in actual delivery, which we can't control too. We surely never deliberately lie about the delivery time.

Firstly shipping times took longer than…

Firstly shipping times took longer than advertised. Secondly, my prescription sunglasses do Not improve my visual acuity. The glasses itself are as advertised, and I have no problem with the frames.

**NOT A BRITISH COMPANY*** really wish I had gone to an alternative company - shocking customer service, requesting payments that have already been paid without apology, huge wait and lack of communication throughout. Best to avoid this company

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your comment. I went back to check your order as well as communications with our customer service. You placed the order on Sept 22 and our optician received your complete sizing information by Sept 23 and had put the order in production on the same day. The order is delivered on Oct 2, well within our regular delivery promise of 2 weeks. Please understand precription lenses are custom made and will require 4-7 working days to complete.

I can now have great visual definition in lap swimming!
The field of vision is better than any previously bought
over the counter googles. The seal of the googles does not leak and I can swim uninterrupted for my training time.

The fit was perfect after the complimentary fit check, turns out we needed a different size. The glasses are great, fit is perfect. Very comfortable. Excellent quality and have been perfect for basketball. My son had no trouble transitioning. They’ve made him tougher

Horrible company never answers their phone so that they don’t have to refund your money back within 7 days. Don’t return calls. Will give you the run around and lie on any type of issue or refund. Don’t buy from them!!!

I put an order 4 days ago

I put an order 4 days ago, and chose Fedex 2-4 days delivery. But when I checked on their website the order is still in "unfulfilled" state. Apparently, they don't really treat their promise seriously, and the positive reviews from their own site are not trustworthy.

Edit: after posting initial review, I checked other negative reviews and their responses. I can confirm I ordered from www(dot)e-optician(dot)com, not any other online sellers.

Edit 2: got a phone call from support. My swimming goggle is still in production and is scheduled to ship by EOW. Change the rating to neutral and will update once I get it.

Edit 3 (10/3/2025): finally got back here. I received the goggles a few days after my last update. After a few weeks wearing them, I am changing my rating to 5 since I did not feel anything to complain.

I'm not sure if you are ordering a plain eyeglasses or one with prescription lenses. If frame-only, we'll normally ship out FedEx 2-4 days. However, if there are prescription lenses to be made, there will be 4-7 days production time. The FedEx 2-4 days are the shipping time. Hope you understand this.

Avoid this company

Extremely misleading website. This companies advertises a 100 day easy return policy in multiple places on their website. However should you actually try to return they refuse a refund due to small print within their detailed terms and conditions. It is very disappointing when a company deliberately advertises a policy which is in contradiction to its detailed T&C. Avoid purchasing from this company.
