I bought my ebike from E Bikesdirect about 3 years ago. They were extremely helpful, and very patient when there were delays with setting up the Cycle to Work scheme arrangements with my employer.

After my bike suffered some damage recently, I contacted them for some advice. They were very helpful and assisted by contacting the manufacturer and ordering a replacement part. Customer service was excellent - they were knowledgeable, dealt with the situation quickly and the communication was clear and friendly.

Very helpful advice before purchasing a new e bike. Great back up when I needed a broken part replacing.
Matt responded quickly to my email and I got replacement part really quickly. I can recommend this company.

I was helping a friend (Marcin) to buy his first e-mtb. After a long search online we found e-bikesdirect to stock the dream rig. We bought the bike which then got lost by the courier, eventually found win a smashed box and some scratches on frame. Throughout the process Garf was very concerned and helping out. He also compensated for the minor damages. Then after just 5 months the bike's motor was a toast - Arran was contacted to arrange help, and hell he did! Not just that but also refunded the inspection/labour charge that I encountered in Bosch service centre!

We bought our electric bikes 3 months ago. We were able to test ride them before deciding on the right bike. After purchase 6 weeks on you have a free service. We just had this done and as throughout the staff were nothing short of brilliant. Friendly, helpful and courteous. We are over the moon with our bikes. E Bikesdirect - if only all companies were like you!

Garf was great in listening to my personal circumstances (recovering FM totally fused ankle). Wanted to try cycling again and explained we are in a hilly environment.
Wow, Like cycling in air if you want to put minimum effort in, I didn't so still get heart rate pumping. How you use the gears and power is up to you.
The Basis Beacon is my first ebike and it's hub powered.
Wish I'd done this earlier. Bike had minimal effort to set up from me. Very sturdy build. Toolkit supplied is great.
Cannot fault the service or the bike.
I'm mid 50s, 17st, and no problem with power. Haven't needed to use the higher power yet, but good to know it's there if needed. Thank you for great service and ebike.

Postage was to northern Ireland, so postage was a little extra. Correspondence was fast, polite and efficient

ordered a bike and there was a mix up with the stock availible. this was promptly corrected.Highly reccomend this company in the fact that when an issue happends (as they can) it was corrected in a fast polite manner. many thanks to them!

Darren was extremely helpful listened to what I wanted and offered me what they had in stock and sent me links, to the different bikes so I could see them immediately. We had several email communications and the bike was delivered very quickly. Since had some further conversations after delivery to ask a few questions, all answered very quickly and professionally

I bought a basis osprey and after just over a month of sporadic use it stopped switching on and left me stranded in London. I wanted to return the bike as I no longer trusted it. They refused as it was past 30 days and they could repair it. I still wasnt happy with that idea so they offered an Oxford Daventry. With its different name it was not at all clear that the bike was also their make.

I didn't use the bike for a few months as I was hoping to sell it but as there was no interest and I now had a need for it I started to use it. A month later I was again stranded in London without a working bike. Their troubleshooting support is poor we couldn't find the issue so I sent it back. They are now claiming that there was a cable unplugged and frankly I don't believe them as it is unlikely it happened by accident and I didn't know the cables were there. I strongly feel their product is unreliable and their customer support is unsupportive. I would not recommend you use this company unless you have money to burn!

Great advice from the team, really happy with my ebike, it literally has given me a new lease of life. Arran from customer support is second to none. We are so impressed with e-bikesdirect that it has convinced my wife to buy from them also

Bike ordered: Basis Dorchester city.
Firstly a very speedy delivery and huge box was in good condition.
Very little work to assemble basically screw on pedals and straighten handlebars.
Checked all screws and found all nicely tightened and blue loctite on threads. The hand completed checklist gave confidence.
Tyres had sufficient pressure to ride straightaway which surprised me.
All gears correctly set up so no adjustments required there!
Motor runs quietly and brakes good. Dutch style riding position comfortable for me. Metal mudguards and chain guard a quality touch and paintwork looks good and thick.
All in all an excellent value ebike and the integrated battery a neat touch.

Great service and can totally recommend E-bikes Direct.
I purchased a Raleigh Motus Tour at a very good price, (great bike) but unfortunately the attachment at the end of the rear mudguard was broken this was not a major problem and I was thinking of not bothering!
I sent a email off and Arran replied straight back apologising and said he would try and get me the broken part. To my surprise he sent me a full mudguard. What fantastic service

I've ordered a bike and some accesories. Since then I've had multiple issues:
- One of the accesories was suddenly out of stock, they've asked me to chose another thing, and that replacement will be delivered in 3 weeks!
- They sent the wrong bike. Picked it up the next day and still don't have the correct bike
- They use a company that doesn't provide any tracking, doesn't have a working email address, and doesn't pick up the phone. I've been unable to leave my house for the last three days because every day they told me it was coming, and that turned out to not be true

Really great customer service experience with buying an ebike. Darren from the Customer Support team was fantastic at explaining everything, and making the process seemless.

Delivery company made a mess of my new bike but eBikes were brilliant in response. Immediately arranged to personally deliver another and it arrived safe, sound and gorgeous.

I’ve always been happy that I bought by ebike from Ebikes Direct. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been great. I have mobility issues and using an E bike has opened up the world to me. I can go out cycling for hours without ending up in pain or exhausted.

I bought replacement battery last week that arrived promptly. Whenever I have called, they are always very friendly and helpful. When it comes time to replace my bike I won’t hesitate to buy from this company again.
