Dunavox wine cooler very noisy
Two weeks ago, we purchased a Dunavox DXFH-50.142 wine cooler. We did not mind paying more, expecting a premium manufacturer and a refrigerator of corresponding quality. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The cooler is incredibly noisy. At night (in silence), when the compressor turns on and the sound is measured with a phone shows 52–57 dB. We are not sensitive to noise, as we live in the city center, but in an 80 m² apartment, the cooler can be heard in every room, and even when the compressor stops, the fans are still clearly audible. The seller sent service technicians, who confirmed that the cooler works, maintains the temperature, but neither they nor we can measure the noise level professionally. Therefore, it is unclear whether we received a defective unit or they all operate like this. The cooler’s design is attractive, but we rarely look at it. It is not suitable for living spaces.
