From the moment we got picked up from airport everthing was all ready to go and to be able to do everthing in the one hospital was fantastic nurses were great and we were well looked after by the hospital and Dr Dogan's team

From start to finish, Dr Dogan and his team helped me thru the process from assisting with booking flights and were welcoming and informative thruout the hospital stay. Im now at the hotel and am extremely happy i made the decision to come to Dr Dogan for the procedure. 5++

Started weight was 184kg February now it’s August current weight is 127kg couldn’t be happier with the results and the service I recieved

My bariatric surgery was truly a life changing experience . After Covid hit I gained nearly 40 kgs in 3 years sitting at home … during which I became obese and developed fatty liver and well as becoming pre diabetic.. my situation was dire and my doctor and dietitian came up with a gastric sleeve solution here in Sydney Australia … I also started researching this process around the world to give me a comparison for what the process is like and how much it will cost. I came across Dr Dogans facebook group and started following that group for a lot of patients going there were from here and New Zealand. After following it got 6 months and very impressed with their work and the feedback they were getting from ppl who went from here and had the procedure done there I contacted Kerem at Dr Dogans medical clinic. He was friendly, professional and very helpful with his advice and helped me with my preparations and I was convinced to go ahead with the team there to get my procedure done. The fact that it was only going to cost me 20% of what I was going to pay here was an absolute bonus. I went to Istanbul and found the doctors team to be very professional and helpful and just like that the procedure was done safely and effectively. I got back home within the week with no dramas (about a year back) and then started this new phase of my life. Discipline and a new routine for my food became very important in my life and Buse the dietitian became my new best friend. She helped me through the hardest phase .. the new diet and recovery phase here (First 4 months) which I rate as tougher then anything I’ve ever gone through. I’m a foody and the changes and challenges to your diet that i faced is very real. My weight at Op was 138kgs. Today, 12 months later I’m down to 83kgs and couldn’t be happier. I have lost muscle mass and strength but still retained most of what I had. That’s me being ineffective due to no gym work whatsoever however all my old concerns are gone. Gone is the fatty liver and sugar issues as well as my obesity. It has been an interesting journey to date but one I will take everytime it in that situation without blinking twice. The doc and his team are awesome and I was truly blessed that I came across them in my time of need. I can’t recommend them highly enough and would encourage anyone whose sitting on the fence with regards to having this done to take that leap. You will be in good hands and the benefits far outweigh any regrets you have regarding missing eating food if you’re a foody like me. Two years ago, I travelled all the way from Perth, Australia, to Turkey to have my gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Mahmut Dogan. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

The experience from start to finish was nothing short of exceptional.
The hospital was first class. The staff were caring and attentive and Dr Dugan was brilliant. I flew to Istanbul turkey 4 years ago and dr mahmu Dogan changed my life!!! Over 9 stones gone, type 2 diabetes in remission and a life without pain x from start to finish, airport pick up was on time despite a delay, fantastic nurses and care, and even after all this time if I need advice or support they are always there. Our experience has been nothing short of outstanding.

My Partner Tyler, travelled here for gastric sleeve surgery, and I came for a hair transplant. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the team made us feel genuinely cared for.

The surgeons were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us complete confidence throughout the process. The nurses were absolutely amazing. They were kind, patient, attentive, and always there whenever we needed anything, day or night. Even with the language barrier at times, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and understood.

i traveled to turkey I went for my gastric sleeve back in may 2026 cant believe the changes ive had in 2 n half months . Dr dogan and his team are unbelievable greeted me with open arms the nurses were perfect .. buse is the best shes always available any time I would recommend anyone to go there take the 1st step it will definitely change your life

This company isn’t very good at all. I do not recommend!! Hardly anyone came to assist me with anything. No one would speak to me or wait for a translator. The nurses were very rude.

I can home with surgical complications and they told me it was ‘normal’. No I have a gaping hole in my stomach that won’t heal properly ever. Have to constantly have antibiotics and packed and dressed.

From the transfers, to the hospital staff, from the wonderful Kylie and nurses to Kerem, Buse & esp dearest Dr Mahmut Dogan, I really felt looked after, can’t thank this team enough!! Best in the bizz!

Dr Doug’s. Was recommended by a work colleague, and the recommendation did not disappoint. From arrival at airport, transfers, accommodation and care everything was outstanding. The team are all professional, providing care and expertise throughout journey. Aftercare is excellent also as they will reply to you promptly. I was well taken care by the hospital staff. Dr Dogan also make daily check ups on me. The facilities is top level. My hotel is top level. My transportation arrangement from/to airport is top level.
