Review Title: Premium Price, Zero Human Presence – AI Bots and Hallucinations
I am currently in the market for a high-end water filtration system and reached out to LANGWATER with specific technical questions regarding my water’s TOC (18) and COD (12) levels. What followed was a masterclass in how to lose a customer’s trust in 2026.
1. The Ghosting: I sent a detailed inquiry and heard nothing for 48 hours. No support ticket number, no "we received your mail" message—just a black hole. In 2026, for a "tech-forward" Swiss company, this is amateur hour.
2. The AI Bot Hallucination: After a follow-up, I finally received a response from "Jonathan." It was immediately obvious that "Jonathan" is an unmonitored AI bot.
The "Fusion Air" Blunder: I intentionally/accidentally mentioned the "Fusion Air" (which is actually a competitor’s product by OsmoFresh). Instead of a human correcting me and saying, "We make TheWell 2, not the Fusion Air," the bot simply agreed that "their system" (which isn't theirs) would work.
Broken Templates: The email was riddled with empty brackets () where the AI was supposed to insert links or citations.
3. No Accountability: If a company cannot provide a human to answer a pre-sale technical question, how can I trust them to honor a warranty or help when a sensor fails? They are clearly using a skeleton crew and masking it with cheap, poorly-configured AI.
Verdict: If you are in the EU and looking for serious water treatment, look elsewhere. Langwater has great marketing, but their "support" is a ghost ship. I’ll be taking my business to a company that actually employs humans.
