Dr Julian is a UK-based mental health service providing fast, flexible access to qualified and regulated clinicians for therapy, psychological support and ADHD services. We exist to remove the barriers that stop people getting help, whether that is long waiting lists, limited appointment times or difficulty finding the right clinician. People use Dr Julian to access therapy without long waits, choose their clinician and appointment time, attend sessions online, and get support that fits around real life. Our network includes fully accredited clinicians delivering a wide range of therapies including CBT, counselling and EMDR, alongside specialist support for adults, children and neurodivergent individuals. We also provide ADHD pre-screen consultations, clinically-led diagnostic assessments where appropriate, and structured follow-on support and therapy. All clinicians are fully vetted, supervised and professionally registered. We are CQC registered and operate to NHS-grade standards for clinical governance and data protection. People can access Dr Julian through private self-referral, employer or insurer-funded care, or NHS pathways. There are no subscriptions or ongoing commitments. Diana was very understanding, I felt like my thoughts and worries were explored to it’s depths, together we have managed to find the source of my anxiety, we work trough it and my life is so much better now:)

My experience with Dr Julian was overall extremely positive, I learned so much through my journey with my therapist Karolina. It is a journey I will never forget, I will continue to use these skills that she has taught me. Truly from the bottom of my heart I thank my therapist and I wish her the very best in her next journey.
I had a wonderful therapist who cared that I got the most out of every therapy session. I felt it genuinely mattered to her that my mental health improved.
There are no quick fixes in therapy, but because of my therapist I believe I now have strategies in place and the motivation to be able to lead a more contented life. Oh and we had a laugh along the way!
Referred to Dr Julian through Op Courage. The process is very simple and the ability to have online sessions either video or telephone make it very accessible so long as you have a smart phone. Highly recommend Karolina, she was empathetic and understanding of my needs as a Veteran and enabled me to explore and challenge thoughts in a logical and progressive manner.
Diana was the best therapist, she taught me things to control my health anxiety that I have never experienced, she showed me how strong I can be and without her I wouldn’t be were I am today, she’s so kind and thoughtful she listens and talk you through everything could not recommend her enough if I ever have to do therapy again I would definitely go back to Diana :) I want to thank you for everything you have done for me these last 4 months :)
I had twelve CBT sessions with Gareth Muir for generalised anxiety disorder. It's safe to say he has changed my life for the better. I felt calm, safe, informed and challenged in the best possible way. I just felt like Gareth 'got' me and I could feel myself making progress each week. I am sad to finish our sessions but excited to face the future!
I was recently referred to this company, and was lucky enough to be assigned Karolina Evershed as my therapist. Not only was Karolina kind and understanding, she was incredibly easy to open up to, something I can sometimes struggle to do with therapists believe it or not. While naturally I am not ‘cured’ of my depression, Karolina has equipped me with vital skills and managed to drag me back on track and off the wandering path, allowing me to work on the self-healing that is required.
The system itself is very reliable, the website is easy to navigate and my therapist was never late. From my experience I would absolutely recommend this company.
I was unsure what help I needed or even how to start but the therapist I was connected to really made me feel at ease and deal with issues.
The application was easy to use and understand with the user friendly interface.
Being able to see and talk to the therapist in a friendly setting (of my own home) allowed me to feel at ease to talk through aspects.
I found the service really helpful. I found the resources provided useful and beneficial for any future use. Overall very positive experience in comparison to experiences with previous services.
Where do I start, my therapy sessions with Karolina changed my life so much. I feel better than I ever have mentally, each day is like a new start, I look forward to every day, no such word as worry, I will continue to do my journal, as it has become the normal part of my life to do, I can reflect on it also, my thought process and personality has changed for the better, it is amazing to see where I am now, fully motivated and relaxed. I am eternally grateful for giving me my life back.
Good overall
I was very well supported, working through my traumatic experience, I had held my trauma to myself for over 30 years, but Diana was amazing and made me feel at ease and helped me through talking about my past and to use new tools to help me in the future.
I was referred to Dr Julian by NHS Talking Therapies and I am very grateful for the access to this therapy and service.
My therapist Andrew Langford was knowledgeable, informative, empathetic and I cant thank him enough for his work with me over our 10 sessions. Andrew has given me tools and exercises to now continue with my personal progress on my own.
I personally found the Dr Julien App really easy to use.

Today I finished my last session of therapy. I started doing therapy due to anxiety & low self esteem for 12 weeks. This was my first time doing therapy, so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite worried about how I would feel about it. But thankfully Shuwana has been an incredible therapist. Shuwana was very patient with me, managed to listen to me as well as understand me and at no point did I ever feel judged by Shuwana. She pays attention to every detail, she never failed to show that she cared about me. She made me feel safe and free, she was literally my safe space. I’m glad that I trusted her and the process. I did make a lot of progress thanks to her, December me and May me are completely different people. I am extremely proud of myself. Thank you Shuwana for pushing me into doing and being better.
I was extremely lucky and blessed for having Shuwana as my therapist and I would definitely recommend her to everyone! The sessions were flexible and it was also easy to book in with her. I have NO complaints at all. Once again thank you Shuwana for everything, I’m extremely grateful for you, I owe you my life!

I was very skeptical after being referred for CBT from the NHS. I have been through CBT multiple times with very limited results. However Diana Gaga brought a new approach, which did not involve reading tonnes and tonnes of information for homework (which is what I’ve had before). She really understood my issues and made sure to outline the best ways to help me reduce my anxiety and depression, and how to carry this forward in future. The skills I have learnt are invaluable and what I’ve learnt about myself is definitely going to help me. Diana was always so caring and listened very intently to everything I said, picking up on things and reflecting where I would never think to. Thank you so much for all your help!

I don't know where to start or finish really. Reading all the positive reviews says it all and I can't really add to it. James Sage proved to be a a massive help to me and has given me tools to help me manage my condition. I never once felt that we were working down a tick list and always felt that I was in the care of a truly great professional. I am very grateful for the time and experience that I've had with the Dr Julian Medical Group and can't recommend them enough.
My therapist Karen Johnstone immediately won my complete trust and confidence. Over the following weeks she gently guided me step by step to a completely different place. I’m not saying it was easy, but no matter what we talked about Karen didn’t miss a trick. Session by session I felt I was making progress. Honestly, if you had told me 6 months ago how much better I would be feeling now I wouldn’t have believed you. I did question whether meeting online would work as well as face to face but on reflection I think it did. The platform is easy to navigate and the online sessions were efficient and convenient. The whole experience has been transformative for me. I can’t thank Karen enough.
