Dr Julian is a UK-based mental health service providing fast, flexible access to qualified and regulated clinicians for therapy, psychological support and ADHD services. We exist to remove the barriers that stop people getting help, whether that is long waiting lists, limited appointment times or difficulty finding the right clinician. People use Dr Julian to access therapy without long waits, choose their clinician and appointment time, attend sessions online, and get support that fits around real life. Our network includes fully accredited clinicians delivering a wide range of therapies including CBT, counselling and EMDR, alongside specialist support for adults, children and neurodivergent individuals. We also provide ADHD pre-screen consultations, clinically-led diagnostic assessments where appropriate, and structured follow-on support and therapy. All clinicians are fully vetted, supervised and professionally registered. We are CQC registered and operate to NHS-grade standards for clinical governance and data protection. People can access Dr Julian through private self-referral, employer or insurer-funded care, or NHS pathways. There are no subscriptions or ongoing commitments. Private patients only pay for the care they use. If you are referred by your employer, insurer or the NHS, your care may be funded as part of your pathway. Our purpose is simple: to remove barriers, restore confidence and help people move forward with the right support at the right time.

I found the app to be very helpful and easy to use. I was able to select a therapist that I felt was suitable for my requirements. I selected Diana Gaga who I found to be extremely knowledgeable in all areas. She was very patient and understanding. I felt comfortable and able to share my feelings and thoughts with her. From our sessions, I have gained a better understanding of my anxiety and depression. I would highly recommend having Diana Gaga as a therapist

I was very lucky to have Karolina as my therapist whilst using Dr Julian. I was very nervous going into the first appointment but she immediately put me at ease and I found myself looking forward to the sessions each week and feeling like I was making progress. I felt like Karolina really went above and beyond to help me (including roping in one of her friends to help face my fears - having got the OK from me first of course!) and that I made progress as a result. I would have liked to be able to have one or two more sessions through the NHS service but understand that there's a huge waiting list for these things and so they are really stretched.
Some confusion with communication when first getting started, but I had a great therapist who really helped me, I couldn’t fault my therapist one bit she was 5*
I am incredibly grateful to have had access to therapy with Dr Julian. It has helped me beyond words. My therapist helped equip me with tools to work through some old trauma as well as manage present anxieties.
I received life changing therapy with Dr Julian. My therapist was so warm and friendly but yet very professional and I felt very comfortable opening up and working towards healing. I have gone to therapy before but the treatment I recieved was outstanding. The whole experience, from navigating and completing the online assessments to the appointment reminders, I would definitely recommend to anyone needing therapeutic support.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into therapy (CBT) for the 2nd time in my life so far. Especially as my main problem was that I had no idea why I was struggling the way I was and so had no clue what I'd be able to say or talk about. I was really pleasantly surprised and relieved when that didn't seem to phase my therapist Zainab at all. She gently and inquisitively led me through what I was feeling, helped me articulate it and turn over the mental stones in my mind to help me understand myself more and establish/re-affirm tools to be able to better cope and navigate things going forward. I'm truly grateful for all her help. This is the first time I've used Dr Julian, but the platform is so easy and straightforward to use. I was referred to it through my employer's healthcare provider, and it has been a breath of fresh air from start to finish, especially considering how apprehensive I was about it all at the start. Every interaction made me feel more and more like I had done the best thing by reaching out and getting help.
Excellent therapist. I was referred to Anne O’Shea and I would highly recommend. Complete understanding of all my issues. Always made to feel extremely comfortable. Amazing service.
Karen was absolutely fantastic. She seemed able to get inside my head, unscramble my thoughts, challenge me, and help me find the best way forward.

Outstanding service from Dr Julian. My therapist was very caring, compassionate, helpful and understanding. She took me through a healing journey which enabled me to be at peace with past demons. I was referred to Dr Julian from the NHS and I cannot express how grateful I am for Diana Gaga who I chose to help me in therapy. She was kind and attentive towards me and she has been the best person to support me though my struggles with anxiety, depression, and trauma work. I could not recommend her enough! She asked all the right questions, made sure I understood everything and made sure she understood what I was saying by relaying it back to me and even screen shared to show me diagrams which helped me a lot. She gave accurate homework for me to try which helped as she is very knowledgeable and also recommends videos and books which can be very useful to watch/read. - thank-you so much!

I was referred by the Wellbeing Service for CBT sessions with Dr Julian. Gareth Muir was so kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and most of all he was fun. He lifted my spirits each week and I continued to learn a lot and saw progress each week. I've now got a solid toolkit and resources to come back to when I need it, and a blueprint for relapse prevention. I am so grateful for the amazing service.
