I recently found myself in a situation where my employer was attempting to force me out of employment unlawfully. I really didn't know where to turn and called DPH Legal and spoke with Stevyn Jackson one of the lawyers dealing with these issues.

Stevyn was calm and assured in his advice to me and we agreed to send letters to my employer to try to negotiate an amicable exit from the company. I wasn't keen on pursuing an employment tribunal claim because of the time and expense involved with doing so. Stevyn explained that most disputes like the one I was involved in settle amicably hence we should threaten a claim and alongside that negotiate terms.

After only a couple of weeks we had arrived at an agreeement and i left my employer without any fuss and this was a resignation not a dismissal. As well as a payment to tied me over for a few months I also agreed a reference and Stevyn secured me a good positive reference which has enabled me to quickly find work elsewhere.

What began as a stressful process turned into something positive because my new employer is a much better kinder place to work and I have moved on with my life with much less stress involved.

I cannot recommend DPH Legal and Stevyn Jackson in particular enough.

I used DPH Legal to advise me on a settlement agreement. Overall it was a good experience. Mark Lafferty gave sound advice and helped me to get everything sorted within the deadline for the agreed fee. Would recommend.

I recently had the misfortune of engaging employment lawyers to deal with a problem at work that had escalated. They are a necessary evil as they described themselves at the firm I instructed but they are very necessary it turns out.

I was reluctant to take things legal but ultimately, I was left with no option but to go down that route due the behaviours of my employer.

I contacted DPH Legal and the admin team quickly put in me in touch with one of the experienced lawyers there David Harris. I also dealt briefly with one of his colleagues Mark Lafferty.

David calmly guided me through a negotiation process which involved writing to my employers and setting out details of my potential claims. At the same time alongside this we put a proposal which following a short backwards and forwards terms were agreed.

The situation was resolved amicably and quickly and this helped hugely to relieve the stress and anxiety I was suffering at the time. I would have no hesitation in recommending David and DPH Legal to my colleagues or friends in the future if they are unfortunate enough to experienec anything similar to my situation.

Expensive guidance. The first solicitor I was assigned seemed to understand my issues well and wrote a well-constructed letter on my behalf. Unfortunately, after this the process dragged on for another 2 months without any more progress. The end result was 2 letters and a bill of £3,200! I will be continuing my case, but with a different solicitor.

I recently instructed Mark Lafferty in relation to a lengthy dispute with my employer. They were treating me poorly and I thought I had to go to tribunal but this wasn't necessary in the end.

My dispute had been continuing for more than 18 months prior to Mark becoming involved and was causing me a huge amount of stress and anxiety. Mark wrote to my employer setting out the basis of my claims which were constructive dismissal and discrimination linked to my illness which was a disability. He also put a proposal to them to settle my claims in a separate letter. The employer had been ignoring me but they did not ignore Mark's letters.

I was grateful for the calm way in which Mark approached the situation. The agreement was offered quickly after the letters and one of Mark's colleagues picked up the file in his brief absence and this was also seamless.

I am very grateful to both Mark and DPH Legal for the way in which my case was handled. I was kept informed about legal costs throughout the process and the risks were explained to be in plain English not legal speak.

Will do bare minimum for you and charge you 3, 000£.
When I contacted company, I was told price for their services for a certain work won`t exceed 1, 500£, therefore I agreed to work with them, but at the end had to pay double of what I expected to pay.
I highly recommend to work only with companies that offers fixed price for their services and DPH Legal isn`t one of them.
