I instructed John of DPH legal when I encountered difficulties with my former employer. I was impressed immediately with the time they took to respond which was immediate and the obvious interest they had in listening to my case and not rushing me though the process.

They managed to negotiate an exit package for me very quickly with minimal fuss. They made the process very simple and spoke in plain English.

I cannot recommend DPH legal highly enough. If you have a workplace dispute do not hesitate to contact them to help you resolve this.

Do not recommend DPH legal at all. Very sly with invoices, do not provide you with correct information and make you feel more stressed than your ex employers. If you dare raise a complaint it will not be upheld, the owner David Harris will sit and challenge you instead of listening to you. Best thing to do is not be afraid and take them through a small claims court for their negligence and misleading information given to you. I would highly recommend to AVOID at all costs unless you want to be out of pocket. When my wife's stress due to impossible work conditions ultimately reached a level which prevented her from working, culminating in her nervous breakdown, she terminated her contract with a truly devious and toxic employer who, in disregard for her condition, continued to threaten and harass her. We asked DPH Legal for help and were very fortunate in having Jennifer al-Janabi assigned to the case. What struck us right from the start was Jennifer's genuine empathy, her in-depth knowledge, impressive experience and, most of all, her immediate and effective legal advice which went a long way towards gradually assuaging my wife's condition during what was a dramatic period for her: I know, as I was her carer. I was quoted £1200 in order to resolve an employment dispute. They ended up charging £2592 ie over double of what was quoted. in addition, the communication between ourselves, ACAS and the ex-employer had been going smoothly. With DPH legals involvement the communication deteriorated. They took ages to deal with things and we nearly missed several deadlines. We had to keep chasing them up. Each time we did, they charged us £27 for an email. This increased our stress since we had to compare sitting not knowing what was happening with asking them and being charged. We complained but our complaint was dismissed. They felt happy with the job they did. Doesn't matter if the customer wasn't happy and came out of it more stressed than they did when they were managing the situation themselves. Very disappointed with the settlement we got, which was around a third of what was initially stated.
We accepted the offer based on fees quoted by DPH. It was a big shock to then realise they took so much of the settlement in fees. If we had known, we wouldn’t have accepted the offer. When we complained, they praised themselves. Doesn’t matter the customer remained unhappy.
I wouldn't ever use them again. Nor would I recommend them.
PS this gets better folks. Having left the reply below, they then have denied I’m a customer. Gave my phone number so they could call. Never called. Just asked trust pilot to remove my comment. Now sending documents to trust pilot to confirm my identity. Sending copies of their bills.

I seeked advise from DPH legal on a legal matter. I found the overall experience to be fairly straight forward and professional.
