Beware of DOR-2-DOR Scams! A cliehired me to provide 4 reviews at $5 per review, making the total payment $20. I completed the work in good faith, but instead of receiving my payment, I was deceived. They take advantage of workers by getting the job done and then refusing to pay. Freelancers and service providersshould be cautious and avoid dealing with this client.

Important Notice for Freelancers Avoid working with DOR-2-DOR. We agreed on a payment of $20 for 4 reviews, but after the work was completed, the client refused to pay. Fantastic local distribution

I run a small window cleaning round and I had dor2dor distribute 20,000 leaflets for me in my local town and surrounding areas.
I spent just over £1300 all in and this campaign added over £5400 ton my round annually.

I want to echo what another employee put here regarding it working out about £7 per hour. The company can say the reasons it’s calculated per house rather than hourly but the fact is it takes around an hour to deliver 100 leaflets. It’s (usually) around £50 per 1000 households visited. So actually I think the other employee was bordering on generous.
Despite this we chose to take the job so that’s on all of us. The company are friendly and respectful. They pay for fuel and leave you to work at your own pace. The job is not difficult (other than physically if you have a road where there are lots of long drive ways or flats with no lift!) and it’s enjoyable on the whole.
I do also find myself agreeing the pay is very haphazard. I finish my round the same day every week, anlways returning my paperwork & tracker and despite this have received wages on 3 different days the week after. Let’s be honest if you’re doing this job you do need the money so that can be frustrating when I’m waiting to buy groceries. You aren’t dealing with well off employees guys.

Cons -
You get on average £50 per 1000 households which means about £7 per hour in reality. Unless you have lots of flats and terraced houses you will not be able to achieve much more than that.
Get paid a different day each week despite asking for regularity
Leaflets are sometimes not dropped off in a timely manner - sometimes up to a day late which means it’s a struggle to finish that week. Most people will be working another job aside this one so it’s essential leaflets are available at the start of the weekend as during the week it has to be done at 6am or 6pm which is tiring.

It’s great to hear you’ve noticed the fitness benefits; many of our long-term team members find the fresh air and exercise to be one of the most rewarding aspects of the role. We view this less as a traditional " job" and more as a flexible opportunity to stay active while earning.
Regarding the compensation, rates vary across our franchised offices nationwide. Because our post people work independently without set hours or direct supervision, the pay is structured per delivery rather than as an hourly wage.
