It may be budget friendly but DON'T. I'm an artist who recently had Wix but didn't care for their recent changes. So shopped around to discover that even Backstage does NOT recommend Google Domains because of its low-grade quality. Templates that look like a 5th grader designed. Even for ecommerce. Thank goodness I didn't spend the money.

Horrendous do not buy domain with google they just keep taking money out your account and refuse to give it back.

I bought a Domain on 15th July and made the payment. The payment was debited from my account and received by Google as well. But I didn't receive my domain. In fact, after talking to customer support, they told me that apparently, the system showed that my purchase was unsuccessful. And although I provided proof of my payment and my payment being received by Google, I have no assurance that my money will be refunded to me :/ very disappointed!

I'm have been registering, managing domains and DNS for 20 yrs. This product from Google is still in BETA or worse. The technical support is the absolute worse, they can't even read and understand a written issue in English(GB). Even better if you use Google connected to a Domain hosted by GD workspace DNS records starts to fail. Google Engineers have investigated for 1 month now and still no fix...

Can't pay due the infamous [OR-RWE-03] error code at payment. Something that should take 60 seconds took me over an hour and still couldn't purchase so I had to give up. No support or phone number for the faceless entity that is Google. Avoid.

Are you kidding me, you can get a domain but only if you live in one of the 23 countries supported? Why does the country matter for a domain name ? -_-

Excelente. Tengo un dominio contratado con ellos y genial, precio muy bueno y todo lo que es configuración del dominio está muy bien hecho, realmente tienen un panel de control impresionante. Tenía un problema al comprar el dominio, que me decía que solo podía comprar uno para usos comerciales, pero como yo lo quería para uso personal contacté por chat y en menos de 3 minutos me dijeron que ese mensaje salía simplemente por los impuestos que puede haber al comprar el dominio, pero nada más.

This website is very easy to use, even for someone who is computer illiterate. My employer was able to create a domain, pay for it, and manage it with ease. This helps to lighten my workload.

Absolute poo. I am so confused by Google products. Someone recommended I register a domain with them due to price but my word I wish I hadn't. Once I transferred the domain to wix they locked me out of email services unless i transfer the domains back to them Written by geeks, for geeks. Google got lucky with search. Their other products are total crap.

Not the cheapest domain host, but beats most of the others hands down when it comes to ease of use.

Clear, clean interface makes it simple and straightforward to arrange transfers in, redirections, mail forwarding, renewals etc, and their online help has answered any queries that I've had. Integrates seamlessly with Squarespace.

Google's selection of domain suffixes isn't as broad as it might be (e.g. no "uk" suffix), but I've been far happier with Google Domains than I have with any other domain provider to date.

My wife purchased a couple domains for a family blog. I didn't update wordpress as often as I probably should have and she ended up getting hacked with some phishing site. I wiped the server completely and reloaded things but they suspended her account.

I deal with customer service and it's a whole ordeal and of a magical other team needs to do this or that... then they want to sell you on a third party review.

Well 1 year later instead of canceling her domains they renew them. For $24 and she's still locked out, so we can't transfer the domains, cancel renewal for next year, or even use the domains.

Go with Godaddy instead. I wish I had.

So much better than 123 reg. Simple and easy to use UX. Great customer support and service.
