DM hall’s service was seamless
DM hall’s service was seamless. In a matter of days they surveyed our home and our home report was produced quickly. Communication was easy through the portal and I would recommend them to anyone selling their home.

Disgraceful
Myself and partner absolutely stretched ourselves to the limit !!! We bought what we thought was our dream house on the basis of the HR Being all 1's...
1. 6 days into moving in we discovered numerous leaks in the roof which had came through the ceilings. On a closer inspection ( by myself firstly, and I am no surveyor) I could clearly notice slates missing,Downpipes missing and gutter ends missing. We have now been told the roof should really be getting replaced !!!
2. We have rising damp within 3 walls. These walls will now need to be dealt with by a specialist. ( Not cheap)
3. We had to pay to get trees , some of them dead and which were lying on the roof of the house and DANGEROUS chopped down and taken away.
4. A leak in our underfloor heating which has ruined the flooring and will need replacing. ( Not cheap)
5. Cast iron radiators leaking and one needs replaced altogether. ( Not cheap)
The HR is not worth a thing !!!
Pointless paying these people to give you a review of a house and then have to spend a FORTUNE fixing what I would say is basic flaws.!!!
We now have to consider whether to sell the house or live with the problems we have found ourselves with and pay a fortune trying to rectify them over years and years. Money WE DO NOT HAVE !!!.
All I can say is I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and ask myself what is the point in taking Home reports as a guide to buying any house.

No problem with the surveyor, but £200 for a 20 minute EPC survey on a 1 bedroom flat seems excessive.
