Poor quality
Tufnol arrived so warped it was unusable for the application. I did not expect flatness, but it was the worst I've seen in 16 years of using it.

My fault, but website confusing
I thought I'd purchased some material I'd search their site for only to find I'd bought something else that had come into my search criteria. I contacted Direct plastics and they said as it was standard sheet sizes they were happy for me to send it back for a full refund.
Nothing is too much trouble for these guys, great customer service.

I used the chat service for some advice, mainly about what sort of plastic was right for my situation. I got an immediate response online with useful advice followed quickly by a quote by email. I actually wound up buying an off-the-shelf product straight off the site and that was delivered quickly and well packaged.

Hi, I ordered a 300 X 300mm piece of material. The piece measures just under 300mm, plus rip out on the cut means that this smaller than I ordered. I needed this to be the size I ordered?

Thank you for your email & sorry to hear you are not happy with your item
We use table saws and horizontal band-saws, so edges will have a sawn finish – this is the same with all of our materials & you will find this with most suppliers. Sheets are kept in the largest size & cut to a size like the 300 x 300mm square pieces, they don’t arrive in this size we cut & charge for the piece only. We only use sawing equipment, so we are unable to offer high precision items unless requested we can offer separate quotations for these. On all items there are tolerances and the image you sent is within tolerance , if you need a precision cut I would recommend looking into getting the material planed / CNC machined
We accept returns if you are unhappy with the material we can refund the order once this is back at our premises in a resalable condition

Most suppliers over-cut so the usable area is what the client ordered, without floors.
If you had a sharp saw it would have been better.
I will make sure to never use Direct Plastics again. Your service is costing me much more than this material.
I will review your lack of service and accuracy everywhere. 299.5mm is not 300mm.

You over cut one of the dimensions. Tolerance is not under size and is 300mm. YOU ARE AFTER ALL SELLING ENGINEERING SUPPLIES!
