Good communications
It seems getting unified consistent advice and prompt action from many companies' customer services departments, is becoming increasingly rare these days (personal anecdote). It was therefore a pleasure to receive accurate and quick advice from the same support team member, when I decided to use Direct Mobiles for arranging a new mobile phone deal, after a very unsatisfactory experience with a different company and their chosen courier.

If I could give 0 I would. Absolutely horrendous. I rushed to place my order for next day delivery. Booked the day off work and woke up to an email explaining my phone was out of stock. I contacted the online team via your chatting service to ask when I would be receiving my phone. Only to be told "I don't know" after waiting 15 minutes for a reply. I asked every single day for 3 days until I got a satisfactory response. I must've spoken to the same person each time I called/chatted because by the last time I asked the question he didn't seem to like me at all. His attitude was disgusting. He spoke to me as if he was sick of me asking the question, he was blunt and cut me off before I could even finish my sentence. Regardless of whether I rang up 400 times in the same day you as a company and a customer service team should be happy to inform me and help with any questions. After all of this I was told a date that my phone would be delivered so I AGAIN booked another day off work. Only for it to arrive the next day while I wasn't home. I feel like giving the phone back I have been treated so badly. Completely unacceptable and you will be hearing from me again to take this as far as I can!

Should have gone to a shop
Ordered a phone last weekend hoping it would arrive on Monday, then told out of stock. It arrived on Friday with no charger or headphones - I’m unable to set up as it’s not accepting the verification code. Tried ringing them numerous times and left a message with no luck, this phone will be going back on Monday if they can’t sort it

Be wary of refurbished phones
When i ordered my iPhone 7 128gb last Saturday I assumed all was well. Then on the Monday I received an email to say that there were no phones in stock and I would have to wait 5 days for stock to arrive. I was frustrated as I had already cancelled my current contract and obtained the PAC number. Then the phone randomly arrived early. It turns out there's an issue with the phone modem and I can't get any signal. I haven't called Direct Mobiles yet but let's see how long I have to wait or whether I will get any compensation for this. Be very wary of their testing of refurbished phones.

As a disabled person, I need everything to be as easy as possible, I had been a customer of THREE for about 15 years, but every time there was a problem I had to speak to India bless them, English being their second language, at times it was like knitting spaghetti trying to sort out a problem, with Direct Mobiles, you get what you ask for as and when you ask for it, cant thank you enough, you made what can be a very stressful thing to organise, simple, easily expalined... and superb service, thank you

They've got a pretty dumb payment…
They've got a pretty dumb payment system which when it throws an error just cancels anything - when a phone call or an email could have solved the problem in a fraction of the time.

Cashback scam
Ordered a phone in June, delivered next day was awarded £38.50 cash back.
Waited right up until the 3 month mark when it was seupposed to be paid, guess what? Yep you got it......Nothing. Rang there customer service team and apparantly they dont award cashback? Funny that its says you do on QUIDCO, TOPCASHBACK, YOUR OWN WEBSITE? Must be a scam ... 👎
If they offer you cashback normally anywhere from £27- £150 dont take the deal shop around because you wont ever see it.

Agree in full with your responce, its there responceabilty, however there are not going to pay cash back when it was you that cancelled the payout to them. And your customer service emails must not be read as i have emailed your company twice with no responce!
