Placed an order online for an item which wasnt currently in stock. Paid almost £1000 which they took instantly. Spoke to various people from main office and the local store who said the product would be available within the week and delivered. 3 weeks later and still with my money in their bank, no communication or updates and still no sight of it. Called numerous times to local store and main office and was always told it would be sorted but never any progress was made. Final call was to ask for order to be cancelled and money to be refunded and went elsewhere. Waste of time and effort. Following from this I ended up finding the same product for £200 cheaper elsewhere so took my business there. Also, when asked to process the refund I was told it would be dealt with that day and money would be returned in 3-5 business days. 7 business days later and still no money to had to call up to chase again. From my experience, just a very poorly ran business.

Basically mislead by staff regarding return policy.
Area Manger failed to contact me, even though their head office said he would.
Having now to deal with it through consumer rights.
Not holding my breath for anything positive, bottom line is the flooring is okay, policy appears to be get your money, keep your money and ignore customer complaints.
Would never shop at Direct Flooring Falkirk again.

I had no notification of the item being dispatched this resulted in the courier leaving my flooring in my garden in the rain as no one was home.

Used direct flooring before and they were great and the floorings great quality. Wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

Had 4 boxes left was advised at the time we could get 3 refunded but no mention if there was more than 3 therefore only option John manager from Hillington would give us was 4 boxes on a credit note or 3 boxes refunded and we would need to keep 1 box. Shocking service. We deal with a lot of insurance jobs and I will definitely not be recommending this company to any of the clients in future.

Terrible, online order was never received by collection store, store staff frankly rude every time we were in and then to top it off flooring was thrown on doorstep, didn’t know it had been delivered and was delivered damaged! Only good thing was (eventually after 2 days of trying) getting someone that would send replacements. Would never ever use this company again nor would I recommend, actually I think 2 stars is generous

Delivery was timely and everything arrived undamaged and when expected

Amazing that you can take a picture to see what looks best in the area you want to cover. Web site was easy to use and ordering was easy too.

I visited the shop on a couple of occasions seeking advice on choosing flooring, on picking up materials and requiring additional material and I cannot fault the service i received. Staff in the store was helpful on each occasions and my flooring is of great quality. My new floor has been complimented on colour and quality.
